Flavorful
These have a lot of flavor, and the peeling makes them cook faster than unpeeled ones.

Good moong dal but needs longer time to cook
I had to run it on slow boil for 50 minutes. I don't see an issue with that. I did not have a pressure cooker handy.

Not good for sprouting
I have been sprouting mung beans for years. I thought I would try purchasing from other seller who was selling seeds for less than my current one. The results are quite disappointing. My best guess is that they mixed some good seeds with some old seeds and so not all germinate and worse some start to rot after a couple days, making the whole batch useless.

Good for sprouting
I grow my own bean sprouts. This product sprouts very well, not very many dead beans

Delicious
I had originally purchased these to make fried and salted moong dal snacks… that didn’t turn out so well. But just soaking these overnight and then cooking them the next day in a broth with fresh garlic, oh my gosh, I could eat this every day. I’m looking forward to finding more recipes to try, with this extremely flavourful bean.
