This was a great set for kids to start out with. We made some really cool Christmas ornaments and there was plenty of clay for four kids to make several large ornaments each. The tools were great for the kids to use and helped them make more elaborate decorations. What I didn't like was the clay was extremely hard, almost dried out. The adults spent what felt like hours softening it up so the kids could use it as it was too hard for 10-12 year olds to roll. The tools are thin and some broke while being used. The last negative thing was the cooking time of the clay. The instructions said the max time was approximately 20 minutes in the oven. We did 40 because the clay was still too soft. It does not harden up like other brand name clays do.

Every kid like it

My son wanted something a step up above play-doh for sculpting creatures. This box comes with so much clay and additional accessories that it's lasted us a really long time. The variety and quantity for the price makes this totally worth it. My only complaint is that some of the clays were very sticky and hard to work with, but it was only a couple of blocks out of the entire kit, so not too shabby.

This comes in an adorable little case that I will use long after the clay has been made into cute things. The only downside and why it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because the clay is a little greasy. You can use tissue or paper towel to absorb some of that, but it's definitely lower quality than the more expensive clays. It's nice and soft, so would be good for kids... I'd say maybe 8 and up? The colors are very vibrant. I'm pleased overall. Great gift for a kid or someone who just wants to see if they like working with polymer clays.

I got this clay set for my oldest daughter's 8th birthday as she had been begging me for polymer clay ever since she watched me working with my own. She made her very own dragon all by herself and was so proud to have all her own tools that she shared some of the leftover bits with her two younger sisters (5 and 3) so they could make their own little figures. There are so many vibrant colors and they don't fade after baking, its been so great I ordered another for my 2nd daughter's 6th birthday in a couple weeks.

The first time we got this, the container was broken so we returned and just got it again. The picture shows three tiers, one for utensils and two for clay. They instead send two tiers with the utensils stuffed in the top. Not as impressed because the top tier would be nice to keep everything together like advertised . Otherwise it seems to be good for kids ( only beginners)

Package arrived promptly today, a day earlier than anticipated. I haven't tried the clay yet.Though the package hadn't been left outdoors, oil had leaked out of clay resulting in a greasy "User Manual". This is a gift for a beginner. There are a few "Examples" in the tiny manual, of things to make but written instructions are obscure, due to grammatical & spelling errors and misnomers, e.g. polymer clay is termed "mud" & page 8 for making an elk begins with, "Knead a skin chromosphere to make the head. And the white soil ends are slightly thin at the ends making beards". That makes no sense to me at all. There is no link to any online site for instructions or demonstrations.Tools don't fit into the otherwise handy plastic container. Hopefully the clay won't dissolve the plastic container.

This was my first time using this type of clay. Its super fun to create with. I was so surprised how easy it was to mold and bake. Will purchase more very soon
