I bought a chrome bin 18 months ago, but was considering buying a new one as it had started to rust. I then saw this product advertised so thought I'd give it a go as it was a lot cheaper than.buying a new bin. Well, glad I did as this works a treat ! It doesn't remove rust, but there are articles and videos that tell you what to do to remove it ( I did mine with kitchen foil) but after I removed the rust I applied this, and now the bin looks like new ! I'd recommend giving it a couple of applications over a couple of days to see the best results though. Well worth the money
