I followed the directions exactly--40 seconds in boiling water (I had it at a rolling boil), quick dunk in ice water, then placement in my mouth. The first time, I ended up with a lopsided fit, with the left side higher than the right. The instructions said to repeat the same steps if the fit wasn't perfect, so I put the mouth guard back into the boiling water for another 40 seconds. This time, I got a perfect fit, but realized that there was now an ugly/slightly uncomfortable indentation on the inner right side. It was from the tongs I'd used to transfer the guard from the boiling water to the ice water! I'm chalking the damage up to user error, but I wish the instructions had specified to be extremely gentle when transferring the hot mouthguard.Besides the extra indentation, the mouthguard fits great (adult) and is very comfortable.

This mouth guard is way too big. Ive worn other "Adult" size mouth guards and this one is not even close to the others. Waste of money because you can't return a molded one and you cant cut it shorter. If you question your mouth size, order a kids size and save yourself time and money. Im sure its a great mouth guard, it looks well built, but I won't be finding out with this brand.EDIT: Still no refund. This might be one of the hardest, unprofessional stores Ive ever dealt with. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. This product not only falls apart as you can read in other reviews but if you have any issues at all, this company will not help you out. Spend your money elsewhere, there are many more reputable companies on here for mouthguards, as well as your local dentist which will provide you with a better fitting mouth piece and they will help you out with any sizing issues.

Like Tina, I think these are the best, better than all the rest. I got tired of using my old Shock Doctor mouth guard and decided it was high time to change and, boy, am I glad I went with Oral Mart. I followed the instructions on the back and had no problem molding/fitting them. I’ve sparred x amount of rounds and have found them to be the most comfortable mouth guard I’ve ever used, a far cry from the uncomfortable hunk of plastic that was my old Shock Doctor. To be clear, I only use it for boxing/kickboxing/muay thai and no mouth guard in the world will help you keep your teeth and face pretty if you don’t move your head.

This guy does martial arts and boxing. His mom bought him the mouth guard because she’s worried about him getting hurt. He loves the mouth guard because it’s comfortable and he feels like Rocky.

I spar a lot during martial art classes. The object is not to get hit in the mouth, but occasionally my mat mate catches me! This custom-fit mouthguard works very well with absorbing the blows. I would highly recommend this mouthguard.

I purchased this mouth guard for my son. He is a high level taekwondo competitor. A dentist recommended that I purchase a mouth guard that had the gel molding, so it can be molded around my sons teeth, for better protection. At the competitions that my son attends, it is required that he have a clear or white mouth piece. The clear mouth pieces I felt were too flimsy, and I could not find a white mouth piece in stores without it have some MMA logo on it. I was happy to find the mouth guard from oral mart. My son loves the fit. I really like the quality of this product. This will be the only mouth guard that I will purchase from here on out.

After going to Walgreens and leaving in disbelief because they did not sell mouth guards, I headed over to my trusty amazon app and found this beauty. It was exactly what my braces wearing, rugby playing, none-too-gentle teenager needed and it arrived in time for training. I would certainly recommend it (and probably should have a subscription for replacing it frequently, given what an absent minded professor he is!). I would definitely buy it again.

My son just recently grew out of his youth mouthguard and needed an adult sized for jiu-jitsu. He loves it! I dont think ill be buying any other brand. Best bang for buck mouth guard out there! ill be purchasing another for myself
