I chose the Vintage Paratrooper pants over the BDU pants because the Paratroopers are less baggy overall. I am 6'2", 270lb. with a 40+ inch waist. I chose the size XL pants (39 - 43 inches) and they fit perfectly. They are still loose thru the thighs, but not overly baggy. More like a loose straight fit pair of jeans. They are plenty long, but with the cuff ties at the bottoms, I can adjust them exactly how I like. The pants are stone washed for softness, according to Rothco's tag on the pants, and you can definitely tell they are. They still feel solid, they are so soft they will rip or tear easily at all. But they certainly aren't stiff like brand new BDUs usually are that require quite a bit of time and washings to soften up. I am very happy with these pants, more so than I expected to be. I will be ordering more colors of these Vintage Paratrooper pants by Rothco in the future, for sure. The size guide that is true to these pants can be found on Rothco's web site. Comfy, loose fit. Looks good with anything. The tabs on side can loosen over time, adjust as needed. I am 5'6, they are pretty long so wearing my platform sanfals worked perfectly. The materisl is light, yet thick and sturdy. Good buy.

Love the Quality, I've never put on an authentic pair.of army pants but I'd imagine these are almost exact. No stretch and seems to run a bit big even with the tiny draw string on the waste. Going to try a size L

These are my favorite cargos!! They fit so nicely in the waist and leg, perfectly loose. I did cut the bottoms because they were way too long for me but a raw hem stays nice on them! There also is a drawstring at the bottom to make them into a tight joggery bottom but I still cut it off because they were too long. The pattern is perfect and these are some of my favorite pants I own! I am also a woman but the pants fit amazing!!!

Wow were these serious, heavy duty pants! I was impressed with overall quality of these pants but they were way too heavy for me. I couldn't really wear them in the summer and even in the winter they felt like they would be little much for what I was looking for. The pattern was great, colors really rich. I ended up returning but if you are looking for a pair of camo pants and don't mind/want fabric that is heavy duty I would say these are it!

The sizing on these are ridiculous, I can't recommend they are way too long and baggy. There are better options out there than these. I'm 5 10 230 and even the 39-43 are ridiculously large on me. You could make two pairs of pants out of these. Don't waste your money.

Great fit, true to size, but the material is really thin, you may get 3 wears out of this garment.

I went up a size and got the waist tailored. Love the functionality of these pants. Comfortable and versatile.
