I bought 2. They zapped a lot of gnats in a small area, which was exactly what I needed. I didn't care that they're also lights, but the 3 brightness levels and a flashing light are so useful! I use them a lot.They can sit on a flat surface or hang using a built-in hook. Cleaning is a little awkward and the flimsy brush doesn't last long. They have to be charged after ~8 -12 hours of use.

Bought as a gift. Much smaller than expected, but once I examined and tried the product, the light is powerful. I am very happy with the purchase and am glad it is not a big, bulky light - a nice surprise! I would recommend!

Bought this for a camping van trip. Use it in the van (enclosed space) and, so far, no bug bites. Haven't tried the lamp for itself. I like that I can recharge it (so I don't have to find batteries) - just need to keep my cords straight. Since no bugs have died in it yet, I haven't had to clean it, but I appreciated the enclosed brush for dusting out the bug corpses.

It does kills the mosquitos but not like all of them, it’s ok for a personal use.

I found several mosquitos and one tiny moth in the device after using it in my bedroom for two day. I'm happy with that.

Arrived yesterday; charged it and set it outside for about 20 minutes to see what it would catch. Nothing, at first. Decided I would sit outside and mosquitoes came — for ME! Ran me back in the house! But the light was only outside a short time so I decided to give it a chance and leave it out overnight; figured the light would attract more in the dark. But I experience mosquito problems just before dusk and at dawn (they’re not so active in the dark) so I was beginning to feel concern it won’t work when I most need it, and for the purpose I need it because when I left it out overnight, it caught bugs by morning, but I can’t say I saw many — if any mosquitoes (several small moths, mostly). It had been out there for approximately 10 hours; the ultraviolet light was faint by daylight.Today, I charged it up for about 9 hours and set it outside again, just before dusk. Wanna see if it will attract MOSQUITOES. If not, the LED lantern seems to work fine; may end up being all it’s good for (emergency/camping light). Will update.

This item came in handy when staying in the Amazon jungle where the lodging electricity was shut off at 11pm and mosquitoes and flying insects were abundant. This gadget provided lighting for our rustic quarters and zapped a fair amount of mosquitoes. This light/bug zapper is rechargeable and with that said needs to be stored and transported on your carry-on, due the built-in lithium battery. Just remember, camp style lamps attract insects, so it's nice to have the bothersome bug abatement feature.

Excelente lámpara. Mata muy bien los moscos e insectos pequeños. Algunos insectos que lograron entrar por la rendija no fueron electrocutados y algunos moscos muy pequeños pasaron sin verse afectados, pero en general es un excelente producto: buen diseño, buenos materiales, buen funcionamiento.

No sirve, no atrae nada, no mata nada, la usé durante 3 semanas en lugares incluso llenos de mosquitos y ni a un solo mosquito atrajo o mato.
