Got this to replace my Geeetech Mizar S dual extruder. Worked great for the limited time I used it.

I have had my ender 3 pro for several years and heard of the need for a metal extruder, seeing some worn plastic on my old one I started looking and found this one.it was fufilled by amazon so it was here the next day which is impressive in COVID-19 spring 2020, it came nicely packaged except no instructions and the pictures currently available in the product page also do not list where all the parts go, I finally through some google searching has found that this is a clone of a bondtech extruder, and was able to locate where the parts I had not put in during my first assembly go.the biggest con so far is finish, the drilled holes for the filament path could be chamfered so it does not scrape and cause plastic dust during the prints, I may disassemble at some point and see if I can round them out myself, otherwise, once I reset esteps, the prints seem to come out very well.

This dual gear extruder works a little too good that it is so tight that it's leaving filament dust on the gears because it's too tight. I adjusted the tightening screw as loose as I can and it still so tight that it's eating into the filament and leaving filament dust on the gears. I wish I could get looser springs so they wouldn't be too tight. Giving 4 stars because it's too tight.

These work as required. Seems to be a good extruder. Easy to install. Time will tell how long they last.

I was getting inconsistent prints with the stock extruder. In a test of 100 mm feed I was only getting 65mm fed through. Some prints came out weak in places, missing proper supports and just not great prints. This extruder bolted on perfectly and make a huge difference. There aren't any instructions with it, yet there's plenty of YouTube videos and online instructions to help you through. Just make sure you do an extrusion recalibration this is critical!

I read all the bad reviews before buying, and purchased 3 of these anyway. The reviewers were not lying.I installed all 3 on my 2019 Ender 3 pro's to replace the stock extruders.They worked fine in the forward direction but they all immediately skipped during retractions.Despite the retraction skipping, it seemed to work for the first two days, but about half way into a 4-day high-resolution multi-part print, they all stopped gripping the filament entirely and began skipping, causing severe underextrusion.Upon examination, I concluded that the arm is angled poorly, causing the retraction skipping. The spring it comes with, wears out quickly and doesn't bite in hard enough, even with the adjustment screw all the way in. I suggest recycling the stock spring with this, but it'll still skip and underextrude.Two days and 3 reels of filament wasted. BUYER BEWARE.

I have an Ender 3 max Neo printer which it said right in the description that it was compatible with. I was frustrated when the motor shaft was too short even though it said it would work with the Ender 3 max Neo. I had to buy a new stepper motor and got that set up. I then realized my filament sensor was no longer level with the extruded and so I had to raise the filament sensor up a few more inches to make it work again. Bottom line, make sure everything will fit and work before going down a rabbit hole or more things you have to do to get it to work.Now that I have everything setup the dual extruded works great, just a pain to get it going.

Works perfectly with no modification at all. I bought one about 2 years ago from another vendor and had to modify it. This one just worked out of the box and feels great!
