This is my first micro-multitool and I EDC it. The three features I've used are the "blade," the bottle opener, and carabiner. I know it's a trade-off on weight but the bottle opener would work better if the back hook part was wider. It's almost impossible to get a cap off without working your way around it with the tool. The carabiner has come in handy when I wanted to attach something to my key ring or to get the tool off to use separately. Would be nice if it were lighter but that would either come with going to Ti ($$$) or making it smaller which would probably affect functionality. This is cheap, try it and see if you like it. Almost got the Gerber Shard and for 6 bucks might try that one too--but you lose the carabiner there. I thought the inches/cm scale on this tool would come in handy but a need has not yet arisen...

This is on my air travel carry on bag. Some reportedly like this original version better than the newer (possibly improved) Plus. But there's nothing sharp here and that's a plus too. When I fly, I like to bring whatever potentially somewhat useful gadgets that can fly - that don't look at first glance like something else already deemed "dangerous" - because who wants to be a security line stopper?

This is such a nifty little keychain. I have used the "box-cutter", bottle opener, and carabiner features quite a bit over the many years I've had this on my keys. I put "box-cutter" in quotes because it's quite dull, but it still cuts through packing tape. The bottle opener also isn't the greatest, but it works in a pinch. This keychain multi-tool comes in for the win when you're in need. It's compact and minimalistic, and it's essentially always accessible because you typically know where your keys are at any given time. I love mine so much that I decided to buy one for my husband as part of his auto-themed V-day gift this year. I highly recommend it!

Nice versatile keyring for the price. Very lightweight.

Light weigh, feels sturdy enough. Bottle opener works ok, but you can’t really get decent leverage / it feels awkward because you have to rest your thumb along the skinny edge of the tool. Very poor ergonomics. Also the “box cutter” is horrible at opening packages. It either doesn’t cut through the packing tape or it goes straight through the cardboard when you try and push harder.

The media could not be loaded. This is the single most useful thing you can have on your keys... I'm not sure keys to a bank vault can do better than the DoohicKey!I bought it a couple of years ago and quickly found that the box opener was by far the most used item on there. It makes light work of tape, paper tape and the paper tape with threads in it that Amazon uses. In the video, you can see just how easy it is to hack your way into a box without damaging the contents.I've used the end to pry things and unscrew things as well, certainly it works on those screwdriver operated switches you see from time to time. I've used the spanner/wrench bits once, it was good in a pinch.The bottle opener does work but you might find that you have to pry the cap, turn the bottle 90 degrees, and pry again to get it off. I'll be honest, it doesn't bother me when I do this, it's still quick.And the clip is great. Even after a year it still in place and works as well as the day I got the DoohicKey. I use it a lot, especially when I want to quickly put my car key on my house keys or ensure that my keys won't go anywhere. Also, this tool does not make your keychain too much bigger because you're using it, when I'm not using it I barely notice it.Love it.Pros:* Incredibly useful for opening boxes especially.
