I bought this tent after buying — and returning! — Coleman's Tenaya Lake tent. I returned the Coleman for the following: the "door" was a LOT less usable than it was cracked up to be, and the entrance zipper was SUBSTANDARD. I have kids. Kids and cheap zippers don't mix... The zipper loses, every time. And a failed zipper can ruin an otherwise great camping trip. Can I get a witness?After pouring over Amazon YET AGAIN, I came across this unassuming little gem, and decided to give it a go. Why, you ask? The advertised "Smooth Zipper" feature, and that it was $80 less than the Coleman.It arrived in 2 days... TWO DAYS! Quick. It was well-packed, came in what appeared to be a sturdy travel bag, and after setting it up, I and 3 of my daughters managed to get all the parts BACK into the bag, with no stress... But I'm getting ahead of myself.Setting it up was a breeze. Maybe not in 10 minutes, as advertised, but still easy. Maybe 20 minutes, the first time; probably less, going forward. Taking it down was equally easy. And that part about the "Smooth Zipper" feature on the door? It's true. Unzipping the door will probably still be a two-handed operation, though. But it's one of the stouter and smoother zippers I've seen on a tent.I think we'll be able to squeeze at least a few seasons of camping out of it.UPDATE 5-26-2019:Took it out camping over the weekend, and it rained constantly. We were dry inside the tent. The zipper got easier to use as we continued to use it.

Received this tent about a week ago and couldn’t wait to put it through its paces. Since I knew a full on camping trip would be a little ways off I did what any dad would do and talked my kids into a backyard camping trip. First of all, the tent came very neatly packed away in a fairly small (considering how large it is) compact bag. It was great knowing that it could fold up that small but I wondered if I’d be able to replicate (more on that later). Once we unpacked the tent we quickly were able to set it up very easily. This leads me to one of my favorite features, the color coding of the poles and the spaces where they go. Love that and wish more tents would follow suit. Once the tent was set up I got to take a good look at the construction and found it to be put together very well. All the stitching looked great and rugged. Inside the tent is very spacious. I love that there is a room divider (a simple piece of fabric that cinches to the sides of the tent) as it allows for flexibility and neatness in the tent.That night a nice gusty windstorm blew in and I just about called off our back yard excursion but decided against it as I wanted to see how the tent held up. I can say with full confidence that it did incredible. It kept the wind out very well and seemed to shrug off the gusts.The next morning we woke up and tore the tent down, very quickly and easily I might add, and wondered how I would be able to fold it back up and get it in the bag. To my surprise, it folded up nice and tight and easily fit.Overall, if you’re looking for a tent that won’t break the bank but will get the job done, I can’t recommend this one enough.

For start, I am really NOT good at writing reviews. But for this tent I have to say it is fantastic. I went on a barbeque trip with my friends yesterday. We have 7 people in total. It was a little bit cloudy when we get there. We set up the tent only in 10 minutes by 2 people while the other 5 guys were doing the BBQ stuff. It has huge space inside this tent. 7 individual sleeping bags and a small desk are well fit inside. It was a bit rainy and windy on that night but this tent is quite weather resistant. It kept everything dry inside, even the flooring!! We spent whole night playing poker in the tent. It was a lovely night and we did enjoy the trip.

Tent is as advertised. Quick and easy setup and very spacious . No water entered even after 2 days of heavy rain. The windows offer lots of ventilation. Carry bag is compact and lightweight which is perfect for canoe trips , Very satisfied !!

Loved it! Easy assembly that is color coded. Plenty of room and the kids loved it. Able to run an extension cord with out worrying about bugs getting inside the tent. Worth every penny

First of all I want to say that I do love this tent it went together easily, and even if you get different colored poles than what is stated in the instructions the poles are listed by type/name, part number, and by a picture on how many segments each has so you shouldn't get confused. I put the tent together myself and it took just over 10 min, and I haven't ever put up a tent before. I do believe it would be a little easier with a second person. I also want you to know that the instructions could be a little more detailed or if possible things be more labeled stickers on each area, but that is a small gripe when it really is not to hard to figure out. I also recommend that you check to see if all parts are in the bag, because mine was missing the stakes but amazon customer service was right on top of it when I called them and was able to rectify the situation immediately. In all I don't down grade any star value when things happen and they are fixed and in all the tent is all it is said to be, A great tent for taking out for a while to camp in and does all it says it is supposed to do.
