Although this marketed as a pet gate, we purchased this to secure our small child's bedroom. Our son had discovered how to climb out of his cot, but not how to land without hurting himself! We changed his cot to a bed but needed to place a gate in the bedroom doorway. We were concerned that he would be able to scale a regular height gate, as they are a similar height to the sides of a cot, so we purchased this taller gate. As with other pressure fit gates, there are screw out bolts top and bottom either side. What made this easier to fit than other gates of this type is that the pads at the end of the bolts are rubberised which help to protect paintwork and stop the pads from slipping. In addition, a tightening tool is provided which makes the job of screwing out the bolts far less fiddly and less painful than those found on other gates.Once fixed in position the gate is operated by way of a recessed spring loaded sliding button to the top of the gate which needs to be pushed across before the catch lever can be lifted. Lifting the catch lever releases the top of the gate and pulls up a locking peg at the bottom. This process needs to be carried out when opening and closing the gate.Overall an easy to fit, well made product that works well. The only minor downside is that the opening/closing mechanism can be a bit awkward and may require two hands, as one hand is needed to slide the locking button across and the other to lift the catch lever.

Perfect for a narrow doorway. We had struggled to find anything that would fit but this is a perfect fit and exactly as described on the site.Fitting instructions are very clear and easy to follow. ( Make sure you read them as there is a specific way to fit) And it has been nice and secureReally impressed by speed of response as well after a bolt had a fault and the company couriered us a replacement straight away which arrived the next day and works perfectly

Easy to instal ,effective and a good child proof catch . Make sure you measure the width of your doorway before ordering . It’s designed for a narrow doorway .

This is perfect for what I wanted a child safety gate is no good as the gap isn't wide enough and I need to keep the dogs away from the front door in case of visitors and also the bars of a child safety gate are further apart and the puppy would have been able to squeeze through plus they are not high enough the older dog would have jumped over. I was therefore thrilled to find this one which is higher than normal and narrower it fits the gap perfectly but you can buy a range of different extensions if you need a slightly different size. The gate opens either direction with one hand and closes when you let go unless you need it to stay open in which case just push it back to 90degrees and it stays open a push and it self closes. It is brilliant and has been jumped on, scratched at etc but hasn't moved. Absolutely perfect I cant recommend this highly enough

This gate is well made and solid . I returned it because it didn't fit the caravan doorway. It cost me £10 to return so make sure you have all the measurements right.

This product is excellent i would highly recommend, this is the 2nd one that i have bought slightly different from my first one just before christmas and a couple pound dearer but that one was no longer available.. but same good quality and very easy to fit!

Worst gate I've ever bought. Purchased Jan 2023 and it's completely useless now in August due to it breaking. It's not suitable for use. That's forty plus pound down the drain.

Pros. Easy to install, simple to use and open sturdy and robust.Cons. unfortunately if the whole gate is lifted it negates the lock. My two year old is able to escape by simple lifting the gate up. Description does states “pet” gate, not child gate, so I guess this is why it’s not suitable for children.

Beigelegte Schrauben könnten länger sein! Da meine Wände anscheinend nicht gerade sind, konnte ich das Teil aufgrund der zu kurzen Schrauben nicht wirklich fest fixieren. Mein Hund kann sich die Türe selber öffnen. Schade, da prinzipiell gut.

Il cancelletto funziona bene. è solido. Il meccanismo di apertura è semplice.Unico neo: le istruzioni non sono chiare e la chiavetta allegata non si capisce a cosa serva dato che le rotelle possono essere girate a mano. Nel complesso sono soddisfatta.

Necesitábamos una barrera de protección para una puerta estándar de 70 cm y que fuera lo bastante alta. Ha cumplido todas mis expectativas. Es muy fácil de colocarlo. El miedo que me da es que a la larga de tanto abrir la puerta el cierre coja holgura y no se cierre bien... El envío llego puntual y el embalaje perfecto :)

Se ajusta perfectamente sin necesidad de taladrar ni atornillar nada. Montaje súper sencillo. Muy robusta.
