This is the best litter I've ever used. Absorbs all smell, instead of just covering up the smell with a strong chemical smell. It clumps and is easy to clean. The litter can be used repeatedly, with no increase in smell.

Pours easily from box with a handle.Low dust, clumps well and best of all odor control is quite good.My cat took to it immediately and covers his business well using it.Highly recommend.

The first thing I hate about this litter is that there are barely any tracks outside the box there’s hardly any litter on my hardwood floors, and I was super important! Also, when I walk in my house, you would never know that I had cats. This litter keeps a box smelling fresh. I longevity is amazing!!

This is honestly a great litter with 2 issues. The litter is very very dusty. When you are scooping, your room/house will be filled with dust. The only solution that has severely helped with reducing the dust is not shaking your scooper when trying to get the feces/urine aka let it filter the litter on its own once you lift it.Another issue is that it sticks to the scooper when you use it sometimes and a simple wash won't do (I have a stainless steel scooper as well).Overall great for smell (no smell at all) tracking is very very little and good clumping. Highly reccomened overall

We were taking on the responsibility of a cat I had long anticipated, I spent a few weeks reading reviews on cat litter. I narrowed it down to this and the Arm and Hammer platinum.I ordered a small box of this and had planned on ordering a small box of the other brand in review. Well once I put this cat litter in the litter box, I never even thought of the other.I have patiently awaited over a month to write my review to see if there was ever any sort of odor from the litter box. This is with me cleaning it twice a day, sometimes once if it wasn’t very soiled. There is NO SMELL, EVER!! I have a cat who is food sensitive and prone to UTI’s, so when I went looking for the best on the market it also had to be unscented. I will say this litter is slightly scented, but we have had no issues thus far.It does track. It tracks everywhere, but is mostly dust free. I have not noticed dust anywhere, only litter that has been tracked by four little feet. Nothing a handheld vacuum or litter tracking mat can’t help control.If you want something that is truly not going to smell, this is it. That was the most important factor for me personally. Even though I do clean twice a day for the most part, I would go as far as saying if there were an absolutely have to case that you were unable to clean the litter box for 3-4 days, I still do not think it would have an odor.

I am a new convert to this litter as of a few months ago! I have been using Dr. Elsey’s for a couple years and just couldn’t handle the quality inconsistency and glue-like clumps. I also tried the unscented versions of Tidy Cat and they smelled bad really fast. I got really tired of trying cat litters, but this one had mostly good reviews so I thought I’d give it a shot.I have two male cats, one litter box (works fine for them) and I scoop religiously every morning and evening. I fully change out the litter every 2 weeks. One of my cats pees on the high sides of the litter box, onto a liner and then the pee drips down into the litter. I always had issues with Dr. Elsey’s because it stuck to the side and then broke apart in gross-smelly, gluey clumps when I tried to scrape it off. This Fresh Step litter makes hard clumps and absorbs super fast. That being said, I don’t shake the clumps very much when I scoop, since I don’t like taking the chance of a clump breaking apart.Honestly, there IS some dust when I pour in the new litter. I don’t mind this. I don’t notice any dust when the cats are digging. It is not excessive, and (don’t hate me) I think the VERY slight dusty quality makes the scent absorbency better.The scent absorbency is another award I’d give. I hate smelling cat litter, whether it’s the pee or the perfumey scent added by the litter company. This is unscented AND it covers scents so well! I had major scent issues in the past with every litter I’ve ever tried. Dr. Elsey’s was sometimes OK, sometimes horrible, and I could never figure out why.Anyway, I love this stuff and I will probably be a customer for life! I am set up to get a 37lb set of boxes every 2 weeks and that works well for a large litter box with 2 cats.

I like that it doesn't have a scent and it clumps well. I wish it wasn't quite so dusty, but I solve that problem by dumping it into the trash bag outside.

We used to buy this exact litter with our first two cats and it was great. Now it’s VERY dusty every time we clean the box. Puffs of dust always go into the air. Unhappy with that. Something has definitely changed. The unscented-ness is great. No smell whatsoever.
