I don’t use this for kitty litter. Works for sifting chicken poop out of our sandy chicken coop. Also great for scooping dog poop in my lawn!I like the deep dish area. Perfect for scooping a lot of sand and sifting it out quickly to pick out the chicken poop. I would imagine the same quick sift effect when using in a kitty litter box. Also good for scooping up multiple dog poop from my two dogs.The material is made of a light metal. Looks like it is rust resistant. The handle is a little misleading. Half the handle is backed by metal. The other half is some hard rubber or plastic. I noticed this because I leave it out where the sun and heat can beat on it. I can see the area where the metal ends. The handle is rigid though. Just in heat it can bend a bit. I just bend it back. That’s the only negative about this. But everyone else using it for the kitty box probably won’t have to worry. Could imagine that it might be an issue down the years. I purchased this as a replacement to a cheap target brand plastic scooper. The handle just snapped off for that one. This new one most likely won’t happen.The teeth are a little nice to have. Helps to come the lawn a little while scooping up the dog poop. Don’t think it would do much for kitty litter. I don’t think it’ll be an issue as it isn’t sharp or a danger to the pets around.Happy scooping!

This thing is great. No really, it's great. I have two cats and they use a single litter box, and as you can imagine it requires a lot of scooping. Liquid waste gets hard and sometimes stuck to the bottom and it requires a bit of extra effort to scrape it loose. After breaking two plastic scoops I went on the hunt for a metal one, and found this. This will be the one I use from now until there are no more cats. It's that good. No bending or breaking, it actually gets in there and loosens everything up, it's easy to grip, and it cleans up pretty well. Get this scoop!

I have a diabetic cat who drinks a lot of water and then pees huge amounts. When I clean the litter box the wet litter is about the size of a small brick. Plastic scoops can not hold up to the weight of the wet litter but this guy works wonderful! It is large and sturdy and I don't get that "cracking" sound when I have used a plastic scoop. Makes a stinky job done and over with fast.

I never thought I'd see the day where I'd rate a pooper scooper, but here I am!! Love the easy to hold handle and it's really easy to clean. The "teeth" on the end make getting to the bottom easy. Definitely would purchase again!

Nobody likes scooping a litterbox. It's not fun and can be time consuming because of the scoop. Enter this scoop. Why did I not know that such a good scoop existed. It makes scooping the litter boxes so much easier as you can take huge scoops or shovel fulls all at once without worrying about the scoop breaking. It easily gets into corners and right down to the bottom of the box without issue. I have boxes of clumping litter and pellets and this works best with the clumping litter as the pellets don't fit thru the holes very well.

I HATE kitty litter. I mean HATE it. This scoop allows me to get in and get out so quick!! It’s sturdy for even the heaviest pees and gets down to the bottom where I can scrape up any that has made it to the bottom. No more flimsy dollar store scoops in my house!!

The scoop arrived well in advance of date promised. It is larger than anticipated but very sturdy and cleans the Litter box very easily.

Very solid. Better than platic wich breaks so easyly.
