So I ordered this kit because it includes the water proof adhesive, some kits don't have that. I've replaced batteries on two other iPhones, so the process is not all that foreign to me. Overall, the kit is good, it does have all the tools you need and a colored instruction, but there are lots of video clips on YouTube, so you don't really need it.Two issues for me:1. the tweezers don't work well at all, bigger components no issue, but the tiny ones are hard to pick up, because there is a gap at the pointy end.2. the Y-shaped screw driver doesn't work, at least the one I got. You would need this to remove the 4 screws for the battery connector cover, the smallest screws you will encounter during the battery replacement. I think the head of the Y-shaped screw driver is too dull or doesn't fit properly. It took me a long time to remove 3 out of 4, and the last one stripped and there was no way to remove it. Lucky for me, this was the screw at the bottom of the metal piece, so I simply rotate the metal piece and got enough opening to disconnect the battery and continued with the replacement.Hope that helps.

Was about to get a new phone when I decided to try replacing the battery myself. My old battery was dying so fast! This came immediately upon ordering, was quick to install with the tools, and gets me better battery life than the original! My only complaint is the instructions were lousy! The online video that it references did a much better job walking me through step by step.

My wife started to experience shorter battery life on her iPhone so I went looking for a replacement kit. I really wasn't sure if I wanted to tackle this or not but this kit was much simpler to install than I expected. I checked out several youtube videos for advice and the best advice was to go slowly and take your time pulling the adhesive tape when releasing the battery. I was able to perform the total repair in about 35 minutes start to finish. The phone worked perfectly afterward and continues to perform well after almost two months. This kit is definitely worth the price.

not a fake/refurbished trash battery. my jailbroken iphone shows 111% battery life with system info. i was at 77%, now 111%, i can definitely feel it. before when i was using my phone, it was dropping like 2% per minute browsing the web. now it is back to normal and a little better.one thing to be careful is the display seal, don't trust it, and try not to get your phone wet anymore.update: the battery shows the manufacture of Desay, which is a apple oem

First time I had ever replaced a battery in an iPhone 7. Went well, very good instructions and all the tools needed. For a 73 year old fart with glasses the small screws were a challenge for me. The phone actually works👍.

The battery was very easy to replace and every tool needed was included with the battery. The battery holds a charge and I haven't seen anything about it that I wouldn't give it a4 or 5 start rating at this time

Everything about this product is perfect! No Joke! Everything you need to do this is included. The directions and the help of YouTube guided me through the process. It took me a longer than some other folks just because it was the first time I replaced one of these. For me the hardest part was separating the phone due to the factory seal.

Installation is tricky. But we’ll worth the money!
