Wonderful chocolates! Bought them for my husband for Valentines Day. He is from Columbus where this chocolate is made, and was surprised to receive it down in Dallas!

I grew up in Columbus & always loved Anthony Thomas chocolate, but this purchase will be my last. Ingredient quality is nowhere near what it used to be. The chocolate is not rich and smooth, but almost waxy in consistency. I can’t recommend this.

I do not recommend this company at all; poor, waxy creations.

Oh my, this is an absolute delightful box of chocolate. This doesn't compare to anything that you can pick up as your standard box of chocolate at a big box store. It beats the heck out of all of those things. I have enjoyed everything in this box except for the chocolate covered cherry, but I'm not really a fan of those anyway. The butter creams are very sweet but the chocolatey fudge is awesome and it doesn't have any fruits that I have found And I am almost all the way through the box. The salted caramels are fantastic and there are these chocolate-covered crunchy honeycomb fill little nuggets of goodness. I don't know what they are but I want an entire box of them.The milk and the dark are absolutely delicious and I have honestly nothing bad to say about this. Usually when you get a mix box of chocolates sometimes you're afraid of what you're going to bite into but I am not at all digging into this one. The only thing I wish that this box had, was some sort of printed guide on a little inserted piece of paper or maybe on the back of the box that let me know what I was about to pop into my mouth.

I have had Anthony Thomas chocolate before. Previous to this milk/dark chocolate set I tried some mint meltaways. They were phenomenal. I was so pleased when I found these and I couldn't wait to dig in. I tried the peanut butter ball looking one in milk chocolate. First the peanut butter was almost flavorless. I don't even get how that was possible as peanut butter has a huge flavor in general. Next the chocolate on it tasted like it had a film on it. I have seen that before in lower quality chocolate. Like they add to much wax or whatever to the mix. The mint meltaways were so creamy and the chocolate was silky I was so disappointed. I asked my husband and son who both tried some of the mint meltaways and they both said the same thing. It didn't taste like the same quality of candy from the other box. My husband tried one that had a fruit cream in it and I don't remember specifically what my son tried.The mint meltaways came in a beautiful gold box that was perfect for gifting and looked beautiful. This box was almost tacky looking and felt like much lower quality in my hand. While I don't think these candies tasted bad they just weren't nearly as good as the other candy I have tried from this brand. I don't think based on these things I would recommend this for a gift and overall if you are looking for a good box of chocolate I would look elsewhere. Lastly for the price they are asking for the box I would have expected the quality to be higher.
