Galaxy Note 5 Case, Verus [Verge][Dark Silver] - [Heavy Duty][Military Grade Protection] For Samsung Note 5

I've been a big fan of a competing case brand for several years and had not heard of Verus until recently. I'm glad I discovered them, though. This case is superb! I really dig the hairline texture on the back; it adds style to the case and gives me a good grip on the phone. The only complaint I have is that the corners are the hard plastic and not the TPU rubber. I'm just afraid that the plastic will crack if I drop my device and it lands on a corner. It may hold up just fine, though. Hopefully I never have to find out.

Fit and look great, rubber corners good for drop protection. But the back is real slick. I used another brand qith my last phone and it had small rubber ribs down the back, which kept it from sliding out of your pocket, or off the dashboard, or off a table. Very handy this cover would be perfect with something like that

Sleek. Comfortable. Works well with wireless charging. Great Color.The bare phone itself is actually TOO skinny and hard for me to hold comfortably and securely in my hands. This case makes it the perfect and comfortable size to hold and use. My new favorite thing is to whip the phone out and quickly make a brief note before putting it back away again.I like that the case sticks out enough that I don't have to click my s pen in. I can leave it unclicked (s pen users will know what I mean about how you click the back of the pen in & out in order to pull it out of its slot), but it doesn't stick out past the case or get caught on anything. However, I can still reach into the corner with a finger nail and quickly & easily pull the pen out. I'm a guy and I carry this in my front right pocket at all times. No issues whatsoever with leaving the s pen "unclicked".I've even dropped the phone a couple of times (nothing major) and all has been well. So I'm happy with the protection. I bought a tempered glass screen protector as well and will be putting that on.The only issue that I can find is that it is tough for me to swipe down the top task bar when holding it in landscape mode. This may be because of my fat finger syndrome, or it may be the case. Not a bit deal either way lol.Hope this helps :)

Update: I've had this case for about two weeks now and I'm noticing things I don't like. One is that it doesn't seem to sit perfectly flat on my desk. If I'm trying to type with my s-pen while it's laying on the desk it keeps rocking side to side a bit. It's driving me crazy actually. Secondly, the volume buttons seem to make a crunch noise and feel when you first push either. It makes it rather difficult to get that first push in. After that they are fine. I'm thinking they aren't lining up properly or something.It looks just like the picture, no color issues like some other case manufacturers. It really adds a bit of thickness compared to the usual silicone type case I use. I guess my only real gripe would be the s-pen port. It's really really thick in that area and it causes you to really have to work to get your s-pen out. Not to mention having larger hands doesn't help but I can see this being a real pain in my rear going forward, we'll see.

I've waited a while to review this phone case, so I could see how it holds up over time. So far i'm very impressed. The red is a neat shade, not overbearing like London bus red :) The case is a very good, snug fit for the phone, and doesn't get in the way of any screen functions, however one thing to note is that you need an aux cable that isn't too chunky near the insertion point, if you want to listen to music in your car like I do. I had to switch mine out, but you can pick up aux cables for pennies and it's fairly easy to tell from a picture if one will fit.I've dropped my phone several times over the past few months, but the case really doesn't show any signs of wear and tear, and nor does the phone. I think the reason is the rubbery baffle around the screen which provides enough protection if you drop it on it's face, whilst still retaining a sleek profile, so the thing isn't too chunky in your hand or pocket.Overall, I think this was a fine case and good value for the price!

I love the vibrant red color, not light pink like others that claim to be red. The quality of the material is excellent and absorbs shock well. I've dropped my phone a few times on both concrete and hard surfaces and the phone didn't crack, nor was the phone damaged in any way. The case served its purpose in absorbing all of the shock from each fall. The case fits like a glove but doesn't prevent button operation on either side. The openings allow for access to USB charger, headphones, clear speaker sound and removal/insertion of the pen. I use this case more than I thought I would since not all of my themes are red that's because I love the color and the quality. I would certainly rate this seller as a very high in quality, service and integrity. I will purchase from this seller in the future and recommend them very highly. Thanks.

Case fits good. Nice texture BUT one major problem.... upon getting my my first phone call with this case on the person on the other end couldn't hear me because the microphone port opening on the case was soon small and reassessed inward that the note 5 could not pick up my voice ( I was in a quiet room will full bars service ) . I decided for investigate and make another phone call test to my home phone and my voice sounded muffled!!Looking at the case ,the microphone opening is as big as the diameter of the hole... it's supper small and your voice will not pick up over your note 5. You will have to talk at a volume using an "outside voice" when when in a silent room. Look at the picture. The hole is incredibly small. I compared this to my urban armor gear case and the cut out for the microphone is at least 2x width of the diameter.....

I like the case very much. It looks and feels great. Fits the phone great and easy to put on. Only small amount of adjusting on the back corner near the stylus to make it fit perfect. My only complaint is that the the plastic split at a weak point near the stylus opening after 1 drop. Better than needing to replace a phone, but now I need a new case. As much as I like this case, I'll probably get one without narrow plastic parts.

Can't say enough about how well this product is designed, made and how well it fits my phone.Excellent product at a very fair price...well worth considering.
