Great replacement
I need to replace my OEM remote as the volume buttons finally failed after months of deterioration. This is a great replacement for the OEM remote, but it is definitely not an OEM part. In hand it feels ever so slightly cheaper than the OEM remote and the button press feels slightly less precise, but it is still a great remote and you can only tell the difference if you have both in hand. The reason it is 4 stars rather than 5 is that you could get a more premium and not like-for-like replacement (i.e universal remote that can be used with other and/or multiple devices) if you were willing to pay a little more. Time will tell on the longevity of the remote, but I am just happy to have all my buttons operational again!

Not quite the same build quality as the original Sony supplied remote, but looks identical minus the sony logo. all the buttons respond correctly and all tv functions work using the replacement therefore very much worth while replacing the original.

Buttons were stiff, stopped working after a while.

Power Button no longer works -After 4 months
Upon purchasing remote on 21st September 2024 - the remote worked well, although I had to point it directly inline of the tv remote sensor(fresh batteries) . The casing light plastic, issues stated in December 2024 the power button stopped working, now the '0' button works less frequently. On one occasion the remote stopped working entirely. Just looked at other reviews and similar issues have been report. I also noted in the description the returns policy states 1 year - yet - on my orders page it states underneath the product "Return window closed on 23 October 2024"

Fab product and price, ease of use for eldery lady and nice design. Nice buttons and I expect normal battery life. Happy with purchase
