I bought this for taking my clarinet lessons via FaceTime during the pandemic, to hold my iPhone steady. My iPhone fit into it easily. Each time I use it, I have to do some adjusting to get the phone at the right angle and for the base to be stable.

I just received and assembled, but haven't used this yet, however, I'm impressed with the design and it seems well crafted. The legs are bendable but stiffer than my old flex tripod but I've never needed to wrap tripod legs around anything, so its ability to stand in a stable fashion, works for me. This product's superior design allows for almost unlimited camera positions, which will be so valuable! Getting a level horizon could be a challenge with any tripod I've owned. Also note: The clamp that holds the camera/smartphone onto the flex tripod also screws onto a regular tripod but still affords the many camera angles. If yours won't sit tightly on other tripods, just add a washer on the tripod mounting screw and it should tighten securely. Really looking forward to using this tripod with smartphone timelapse videos.

Phone doesn't fit with case on

This product works exactly as described. Remote works with iPhone or Galaxy smartphones. Flexible tripod legs give plenty of still & active option. (We once hung ours from light fixture over our dinner table for a group shot during the holidays) Easy to toggle between portrait or landscape view. Folds down quickly & tapes up little space - making it Ideal for packing & taking on trips. We just returned from a trip to the beach. The friends we vacationed with with liked it so much that we purchased this second one as a gift. (They’ve already let us know they LOVE it!)

Update: I feel the need to update this as I really haven't been using this very long and the foam on all 3 legs have torn and one leg actually fell off today while I was trying to record a baseball game. I noticed it getting wobbly recently but the metal piece when the legs connect to the holder just snapped. I now have to order a new tripod before my work meetings this week.I purchased this for recording baseball games until baseball was cancelled but then started using it for my Zoom calls for work and virtual workouts. It works so well for everything I have tried to use it for. Now that baseball has started back up I finally got to test it out and it works so much better than the last tripod I had like this. I'm able to wrap it around the chain link fence and get it in the perfect position to record and not have the fence be in the way. The only issue I have had so far is that the foam on the legs of this has torn on all 3 legs. I haven't had this for very long and if the tearing gets any worse I will need to get a new one which is really unfortunate because everything else on it works so well. I can't really comment on the remote because I honestly didn't remember it coming with a remote but maybe it did.

I have an iPhone Pro Max so I was pleasantly surprised to see that it held the phone without any sagging, tilting or tipping over.

It’s a little awkward adjusting to a Portrait or landscape orientation. But at least the portrait and landscape orientations are normal or normal. Bearing of the tripod legs are normal compared to other brands. I gave her 90% because it is a little strange.

It is pretty good for the price. Mine broke so I needed something cheap and fast and this one did the job.I mean it's not like all professional. BUT it def gets the job done. The remote I never used. I would def recommend it if you need something cheap and fast. I have been using it for months. I also love that the legs can be molded. I even use it to grasp objects Like my table for better support and video quality.I will say totally worth it.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this tripod to replace my other tripod that lasted me almost 2 yrs before one of the legs broke off.This one I purchased in Nov 2020 and it lasted til March 2021. 5 mo and I use it alot .Not impressed!Not recommended if you do alot of videos.Will not buy again.Cheap.

don't waste any more on this just junk and broke within a week
