Awesome 5 gang box, well made and easy to anchor with the preset screws. We couldn’t find these in any local hardware stores. Our electrician was impressed and bought some to keep stock for other clients.

I like them. A little pricey but what isn't these day's. Good option for residential wiring where 6 or 5 gang boxes are needed

Madison Electric Products MSBMMT5G 5 Gang Multi Mount Device BoxI stared this project to figure out if I could get everything I needed into a 3 gang box. I could not. So how do you get five pounds into a three pound box? Get a bigger box. I ordered a “MSBMMT5G 5 Gang Multi Mount Device Box” from Amazon warehouse deals. They sent me a a “MSBMMT6G 6 Gang Multi Mount Device Box”. Probably the reason the original purchaser had returned it.I made what I consider a fair representation of each of the boxes in order to record the dimensions. The dimension are as close as I could derive using various methods however I assume no liability for the accuracy of the information provided.Madison Electric Products standard smart boxes are manufactured from a flexible PVC material. These Multi-Mount boxes and are manufactured from a more rigid polycarbonate material (not from Aflas rubber as the ‘technical details’ above states).

2 screws on one side and 3 on the other. The plastic screw holder can be moved from side to side but the holes do not line up.

New construction, old work, something in-between? This box has you covered. Removable tabs for new work, screws for mounting on sides or top (or mounting vertically) if you are between two studs. Madison makes excellent products.The only negative that I have is not a reflection on the product but an inconvenience with the fulfillment center staff's accuracy checking. I received some very expensive vitamins (which I returned) instead of this, then the replacement was lost in the mail. Finally, after calling Amazon, I received the correct product several days later but also received the backup I'd ordered (assuming this one was a lost-cause) the same day.

In Canada, there should be ground screws inside the back of plastic boxes (same as metal boxes). There is then a metal strap that then bonds the yokes of each device (the metal tabs on a switch or outlet). Outlets would be grounded by the pigtail to the lug and by the screws holding them in place.The company that made Canada Code Compliant SmartBoxes went broke a few years ago but these had a grounding bar.These boxes are not CSA approved. They are UL but not ULc certified.Ordered two, both arrived in sealed packaging and neither included the low voltage divider.

Standard 5 box. Arrived quickly and in good condition along with screws.

Doesn't work in parts of Canada, no grounding bar in box. May meet code elsewhere.Good quality
