These lanterns are not too large. They measure approximately 6” X 3”. They have a weight of 4.12oz each. These are USB charged only, and do not / can not operate on “regular” (alkaline) batteries. They come with two micro USB cords, but an AC adapter is not included, so you’ll need to purchase that separately, if you don’t already have one you can use. There are three modes. . .High. . . .low. . . and strobe. Though it does not show how many lumens it has, I would say it’s at least as bright as a 60W bulb on “high”. These lanterns are quite “generic” and may be sold under multiple brand names. . . . So. . . Look around to see who is offering the lowest price before purchasing. Made in China. At the current price of twenty bucks, I think they are quite expensive for what they are. . . but. . . I really like them.

I bought these for my chicken coop, because the northeast winters we have short days and these are great! I’ve had them for two years, they increase the egg production while providing adjustable light levels for my birds. Worth what I spent.

I was really excited to get these 2 rechargable camping lanters because not only do i live going camping but I have also been participating in an energy saving website and know these will come in so handy! On the website I participate in they askbyou to try and use very little energy during certain hours of certain days and for this i actually turn off my breakers and use ZERO! With no electricity comes no lights so these definitely come in handy. They have metal clips to hang up though one of mine was missing and i am going to contact the seller or amazon a out that Regardless, it also has handy lights on one side that show what percentage the battery is at. This allows me to use them when i need and following i can decide if they need to be charged before we put them away so they are ready for next time. The other side has the charging plug hole and the on/off button. It uses a micro usb cord which is nice because most of my devices do already so i can use the cords i already have but it does come with a small one for each lantern if you dont have those kinds already. There are 3 modes high, middle and strobe but i never actually use strobe. It gives off good light, is small, rechargeable and very convenient!

I highly recommend these lights, mainly because I haven't yet found a better solution on Amazon that is as bright with a very pleasing light that isn't too harsh (especially on the second setting - the brightest setting is a little too bright for close reading). The only drawbacks are: 1) they seem so light weight I imagine the plastic globe might be easily cracked, so handle these with care ; 2) the metal hangers fall out very easily but can be re-bent and re-inserted easily, only to fall out again; 3) they take quite a while to re-charge fully. I don't know why the "strobe" feature was even included unless you need something for a highway emergency. They also work extremely well as a bright work light for cramped spaces under your car or elsewhere!

I have struggled trying to find a tent light that actually stays brightly lit that I don't have to recharge or change batteries every night.These little lights pack a punch and I only charged them one time before I left for my 4 night camping trip. I put one outside in my pop up shade and the other inside my 10x10 Kodiak tent. My entire outside and inside area were fully lit! Thank goodness I finally found these!I appreciate how it has two levels of brightness and the power indicator.

I purchased this LED camping lantern for use during power outages, and for emergency lighting. I wish that the light had an additional mode that was even brighter, but it still does a very good job. My background is in Electrical/Electronics assembly/production, and I took one of these lanterns apart to examine it's construction. I am extremely impressed with it's design, and with the are taken in the assembly. The solder connections were done correctly so the light should last. I have not yet performed run-time test, but will do so and then write an updated review.

Wish they lasted a bit longer on a charge.

I love how bright these are. They r lightweight so they will travel well and light my booth at night. They are a bit bulky and can be crushed, but that is the case with most lanterns. It is slow to charge. Micro USB port charger includedUpdate: I used these all weekend at a show. Great for the booth on high for about 2 hours. They do go dim after that if on high. They do have a bit of pulsating light so if you are prone to migraines these may not be for you. I will be getting another set. They saved me on a sight with no power.
