The instructions suck. The string keep coming out. I watched many videos I finally found one that explains how to tie off the string. For simple line stiches it does the job. You need to turn the fabric over,pull the sting through and tie off. Becareful not to pull from the side that was face up. It will unravel.

It gets the job done. Will be more easy if another hand holds the pants while you are guiding the sewing machine otherwise the seam will be curvy and not straight (like mine, hahaha).

Instructions were not in English. Watched videos of how to thread & finally got it to work, but all I could sew was paper. When I tried cloth it jammed & would not sew. I spent a few hours and got nowhere trying to use this! I used to use sewing machines years ago, so I do have some idea of how to sew.. I bought this hoping to fix a few simple holes in some pockets & figured this would be easier than hand sewing. Well, It is hard as heck to thread & then it jams as soon as I tried to sew a piece of cloth. The little device to thread the needle bent immediately & it appears after a few more uses it will break & then how do I thread the needle? I'm so frustrated after hours of fussing with this that I have to calm down &look at this tomorrow to see if I need to return it. Very disappointed so far. Guess I'll just hand sew as this doesn't seem to want to sew anything??? I could have hand sewn all I needed in the hours I wasted with this getting nowhere!

I’ve watched every video and spent hours trying to get this to stitch for more than 2 seconds before everything coming undone. This product is total rubbish. Am returning.

I can't leave a review about how this product works because I received it with someone else's sewing project caught in the machine. Based on someone returning the device with their project stuck in the jaws of this machine, I'm not going out on a limb to say this is a piece of junk and not worth your money. Even if I wanted to attempt to fix the machine, I couldn't because the power cord wasn't included in the box.

We didn’t use it right away. When we did it doesn’t sew properly. Keeps jamming up. Useless machine. Missed return window. Would not recommend this item at all

No reverse, skips stitches, which you can't see until you turn the fabric over. Things like the thread holder fall off. Cheap.

Besides the product's battery compartment lid not opening, very hard to open each time nearly giving me a blister, it didn't work. I was not able to get stitches going. It kept getting stuck over and over again. Reviewed videos to see if I was doing something wrong but no, the product was simply defective. Very disappointed.
