This net is great for wildlife rehabilitation, specifically birds of prey. We use it at our wildlife center to capture birds that are in our flight cages. The ability to extend the net makes it ideal for netting owls and hawks from the high perches. Great product!

For 40 bucks you would think frabil makes a better structural loop for the net. Barely used it and the part where it goes into the handle is starting to scratch and ben a littleI've bought 3 of these2 from bass pro shop the last 3 yearsFirst 2 has adjustable handle....the one from Amazon does not its a fixed handleAnd I cant seem to find a replacement net for these

The handle broke in half dip netting shad, then I still used it and the broke handle cut my hand. The net itself is a decent unit but the handle is under built.

I read the item number and cross checked it with Cabelas. Item listed there with same number says it has a telescopic rod. This net is now useless to me and arrived with a hole in the netting. The handle and frame for the net are aluminum and feel as though a good haul of minnows or smelt would bend it.

Great for catching frogs in fishpond!

Haven't had a chance to use it as our season was so short, but is high quality and will last for a long time.
