This review is honest and raw so if you are uncomfortable with blood and the word vagina, don’t read any further.I just had my son on Sunday and I ordered these Monday morning before leaving the hospital. They arrived today, Tuesday! Let’s take a moment to applaud for that! Now, as for the ice pad itself! O. M. G. TOTAL GAME CHANGER! I don’t know why I didn’t buy something like this since my first, 6 years ago! I thought it would be gross to have to deal with washing the reusable cover but to be honest we moms deal with way worse, so washing my own blood out of the reusable cover in the sink is so not as gross now. A little TMI, I know, but let’s be raw honest truthful, THATS WHAT COMES WITH DELIVERING A BABY! These are so amazing, even better than the disposable ones that the hospital gives you. Why? Because the hospital ones are so bulky so to sit on them is incredibly painful/uncomfortable. These are flat so they don’t even feel uncomfortable at all. The shape is so ergonomically fitted with the vaginal area that it all works out for the best. Big enough to cover the vaginal and anal area, cause hemorrhoids are real. Also, the ice pad alone would be great to use because you can just rinse it off with soap and water, but the cover is amazing too. I don’t mind the hard core cold so I’ve used it without the cover and that’s been great, but if you are sensitive the cover is your best friend. Also, I can see these being so helpful with breastfeeding. They can be warmed up, so on days I get engorged, I’ll so reach for these as well.

These are a postpartum life saver. Two pack is great because you always have one cold and ready. Also can be used after you heal. I was having terrible next pain adjusting to breastfeeding and these are the perfect size and shape to ice my neck while I watch TV. Definitely a great item for the price.

These were amazing during post partum recovery! I never warmed them up, but did use them as ice packs. They froze quickly, were flexible when using them. And it was convenient to have three fabric covers so I could rotate washing them. They helped relieve pain from stitches.

I really liked it at first. Frozen its great but if you want to warm it up becareful with microwave times and how powerful your microwave is mine was a tad high and before getting to 15 secs it was already hot and it popped 😔

I ended up having an emergency cesarean five weeks early so didn’t need these for perineal relief like I had planned. I warm them up to use as warm compresses while pumping now. Helps with flow.

Followed heating instructions exactly as I was supposed to and they exploded goo all over my microwave. Had to return for a refund before I even got to used them. They also do not fit well in the fabric sleeve

They work and look nice. However, however two uses the seems tore open and the inside gel started coming out. As long as you're careful to keep the hole right side up and make sure you don't squeeze the gel out... it still works. But it's probably not worth purchasing if it breaks after two uses.
