cheap manurfacturing, handling, and VERY Poor design, glad Amazon refunded me praise the Lord!
Background: ive been skateboarding/longboarding for about 12 years and i have had roughly 10-12 boards at one pointPros: the grip tape is AMAZING, like SUPER AMAZING? And the board is unique in the fact that its a drop down and drip throughCons: The trucks are cheap, very cheap, they look and feel like plastic, thats a big no-no. Also the board is damn near unrideable the way it comes, and i say unridebale in the fact that it may be physically rideable, but it is VERY unsafe the way it comes, and there are no instructions on how to make it safer. Its unsafe because the board scrapes when you turn, no matter what your weight is, you could weigh 90 pounds and it would still scrape. The manufacturer neglected to place a 2 dollar plastic riser pad on each side, profit maybe? or carelessness?, Either way DO NOT BUY THIS BOARD, UNLESS: You dont mind spending a seperate 5 bucks on 2 riser pads, otherwise the frustration will drive you to the point of insanity. Any skater could ride this board, and in 30 seconds tell you it shouldve came with riser pads, also called shock pads. whoever designed this board did not ride it before they sent it into the market, and lastly the box it comes in is not padded with insulation, carboard pieces, or bubble wrap, or anything really, you open the box and its just a board wrapped in plastic, i believe this lack of cussion is the reason my board HAD CRACKS WHEN I OPENED THE PACKAGE THAT WERE ON BOTH ENDS OF THE BOARD, regardless of the very poor experience i had with this product and the and lack of necessary qualities in all areas of processing and handling, and design featurses, i have written this reveiw to in the most ubiased way that i can so that it mostaccurately reflects the product

Buy the deck chuck the rest.
TL;DR {This is far from the pinnacle of longboards but I think it is still a decent board for beginners who do not want to pay 150 to see if they like the sport or to learn. The better options if affordability is a problem are the Landyachtz Drop Hammer or Landyachtz Tugboat. And for the love of Talos, please do not down hill with this. It bottoms out easy, cannot make quick turns, and is very bouncy.}Update 09Sep2018{Board died while doing a jump (to get over crack). I partly suspect it was because I top mounted it and had angled risers. Instead of buying another one of these, I elected to buy a Yocaher Aluminium deck which costs the same price as this complete. After riding my Beercan Rootbeer Sharkwheel edition with some purple Caguama's, I have learned that metal is more suited to my needs. I mostly commute over rough terrain and go speeding down flat roads, mostly. With the aluminium boards, at worst I may have to buy more grip tape and bearings if I get caught in the rain, they are less prone to cracking, and short of the grip tape peeling, they are physically impossible to delaminate. They also take a pounding as they are well, metal and such, and have nose guards. Plus I can jump on them with little worry of hurting them. To be fair I have jumped a number of times on this one and it died after much abuse. I have jump nollied over cracks, pumped, and rode up and down curbs on this.Just a side note, if you are a heavier rider, I would recommend a Beercan board which can handle up to like 300-350 (some reports up to 500), or the yocaher which handles up to 275. If you are light in the ass this board should do just fine.}//end update 09sep2018Update 17AUG2018{I am now in love with this board. Why? Because I top mounted it, slapped on some Orangatang Caguama 85mm/80a, Zealous Green bearings, and some Dime Bag wedges (optional, I had spare so put them on here for kicks), loosened the trucks, and holy sweet Talos. It is a beast.The deck is actually an ok item, is just that the rest of the complete (sans the bushings) suck. I still would not downhill with this, but for city cruising this is frigging awesome. Very responsive. The springiness I hated so much at first helps absorb the horrible vibrations from poorly paved roads. Feels very fluid.So my new take on this is to buy the board, toss the wheels into the spare parts pile, maybe give the bearings to some children for their fidget spinners, and then buy some Caguama's and good bearings to dominate the streets. Although, I would not do down hill with thiis w/o buying some quality trucks I will definitely buy again just for the deck. Now it feels complete. I feel right, Brian. I feel right.}Old defunct review{It is my first longboard and barely touched skateboards as a child so I do not know much about what to expect.Pros:decent board for the price.The bearings are not bad. At least far as I have seen. I did replace them the same day with zealous greens which are amazing.The whale design on bottom is fairly grand. A bit faded and would be better if it was on fire swallowing a helicopter or something.The grip tape is nearly like super glue to my shoes. It also was reasonably put on with minimum fugliness from botched cuts.Cons:Experienced vicious rail biting even after fiddling with the trucks.Came cracked. Not bad enough to cry to the seller but still was a wtf moment. But considering the abuse boards will be subjected to it mostly a null issue. Mostly.Trucks came squeaky but was quickly fixed using soap shavings.Board bends crazy easy for someone of my size. I am 200 lbs and accidentally putting my leaning on one foot in front the middle of the board made it bottom out while riding. I saw the other reviews/questions answered about 325lb and 260lb people scooting down the trail on these and thought it would hold me. It does, but feels like a trampoline.The board also would randomly throw me off the front. I did not see any rocks or nor was it the n00b move of leaning way too far forward. I think it was from rocks getting caught on the bottom of the board. I turned it into a top mounted board and has not happened again and I never had this issue on my Landyachtz Drop Carve either.Finally the wheels spin they wobble. They do that even when I tighten them. Other wheels I have mounted on this do not do this.Is this a good longboard? It depends. I would really aim this towards the people who either unsure if they will like skateboarding or they just want to spend grandma's money on something to look cool or edgy. But for anyone who is already invested buy them a landyachtz or something of that caliber. Seriously my Drop Carve is love incarnate.}

Great board
Truly a great board!I just took it out of box, had a ride in town and got these comments. Before I was a skateboarder and this is my first longboard. What surprised me is that the longboard brings a totally different joyful ride! The drop concave locks your feet very well. It’s built very low to the ground, so I get a super easy paddling. I used to think longboard is not too easy to handle for its big size or wheelbase. But this one is amazing, even built with 7inch trucks and a 34inch wheelbase, it still has a small turning radius. All doubts are gone, I’m in love with my new hobby.

Arrived damaged, finish could be better.
Not sure who I should be mad at, the fulfillment center or the company that makes the board. I ordered TWO of these boards, and during transit I get an update saying one of the boards was being returned to the shipper because the package was damaged in transit. So one of the boards arrives, it's just sitting loosely in a big box, flopping around, I open the box and the only thing in the box is the board, one small item I ordered with it and a piece of paper.. zero packing cushion. Before even pulling it out of the wrapper I notice the tip is damaged. Several big splinters and the graphics under neath are about to fall off already. Also, there is a chip on the side of the deck. The grip tape has air pockets in it in a couple spots. I stood on the board and i'm 190 lbs and the board almost bottoms out immediately. Not even sure if I should attempt to ride it and look past the defects, or send this back.Extremely disappointing. The board that failed to arrive I ordered a replacement with a different company, so we will see how it goes.
