This Casio digital black resin strap watch combines the sporty style and functionality of a digital watch with the dependability of a 10-year battery. Water resistant to 165 feet (50 meters), this watch also includes a stopwatch with lap memory 60, an auto LED light to tell time in the dark, and 5 daily alarms. CasioWith the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.

The best basic workout watch for small-wristed folks!
I'm amazed I just now discovered this thing. Might be the perfect workout watch for the small-wristed or just generally folks who don't want a massive hockey puck on their wrists. I bought this because I use the Lap/Split concept a lot when I work out and the size didn't seem ginormous. This thing even has an auto light that turns on when you move your wrist to look at the time! The only mildly annoying think about this watch is that after a workout you have to clear the memory when you're done. Other than that, this thing is great! I can't believe this watch isn't more popular!

Just perfect.
This watch is honestly the bomb. I'm actually wearing it as we speak. Here were my concerns going into purchasing the product:1) How does the split function work? Does it have memory of them? Or just your whole run/activity? a. Its SSSUPER easy, while in stopwatch mode you just press lap/split- it records your time time and then keeps on showing you your total time and the time of the run. b. It records up to 61 of the times you press "split". That maybe anywhere from 5-15 runs. Plenty of time to record the info elsewhere. c. It records the run as a whole, and then each individual lap.NOTE: The instructions manual is VERY thorough and explains how to use all the TONS of cool features for the watch. (I won't go into them all right now)2) I hope it isn't to big. a. First off, I'm super skinny so my wrists are tiny. I was afraid the watch-face may be too big for my liking/comfort. It wasn't. Great size and the design is spot on. Love the old school look.Other comments: The watch is very durable & suitable as a sports watch for wicking sweat/ staying comfortable on your skin. The notches are very good distances from each other so you can always find one the fits the way you want for your specific activity. The watch saves battery by reducing the screen light in dark areas/night. The auto light switch( where you tilt it up from your wrist the light automatically turns on for a few seconds) is very handy fro night runs.It was 5 alarms, it can record/estimate distances by imputed pace (so as to tell you when to split at miles, if you don't already know)Only problems: If you have thick gloves on, it can sometimes be hard to press the buttons down(like the start button). When you finally do press them, it lets you know by a semi-loud BEEP. (like that part) But sometimes you think you pressed it when you didn't.Sometimes the functions are a little hard to remember the steps. Luckily, the instructions are there to help.Although I haven't tried other sport(lap feature) watches, I have had the Nike SportsBand ($50) and lets just say I highly prefer this. And, overall, i know I would prefer this watch to ANY other (ironMan) lap watch unless another had GPS (this doesn't).YOU CANT BEAT THE PRICE. I would recommend this to literally anyone. Because it fits well on my tiny wrist.

A switch from Timex
I've run for 20 years with different Timex watches. The first was excellent, then I started to have bad luck. Buttons stopped working and difficult battery changes. So I'm happy to try a Casio. So far, so good. For running the most important function for me is the split/lap function. I like that you can change the display for the total running time vs the split time. The default is to show the split time in the "smaller font." I was able to change this so that the split time appeared as the "Larger font" size. The watch is not completely intuitive, but the instructions are pretty good. I'm happy to find a running watch that is not Timex and is not too expensive.

Casio Watch
Needed something simple and inexpensive and it does a great job of keeping track of my laps. I like the front buttons and although the watch is small, it's still easy to read the display.

Good small sport watch with all necessary functions
Good small sport watch with all necessary functions. Front buttons are great. The only thing that is annoying is that there is no MUTE option.

Very accurate!
Remarkably accurate. Lost 15 seconds in a several month period (I'd guess 2-6 months). Also size is handy, neither too small nor too big.
