I had purchased two different sets of the tools because I came across this set after purchasing the other set that's also pretty similar on here. Overall, doing a comparison, I like this set better! The difference is pretty minimal but I think this set has a slight advantage over the other sets that I browsed / purchased on Amazon.-This set has slightly more pieces than the other set I've got, with the difference being a couple more of the needle files-This set comes with a few extra accessories that are quite useful, including a wire brush and a sponge sandpaper-The needle files are slightly larger than the ones in the other set, which might not be to your liking, but due to the slightly larger size it's actually sturdier as the needle tip on the other set broke of for me within a day of usingOverall, very nice and sturdy set and I'm happy with the purchase!

The files in this set are very versatile. I used a few of the triangle shapes to fix a bad mortise job on a door latch that had been bothering me and was very impressed. The handle seems to be very sturdy and the metal is just as good as any name brand I have bought at Home Depot for a lot more money. Having both long and short files in nice for when you are working in a tight space such as a cabinet or on a car. I also like the case that they came in, I try to keep my tools very organized and the case makes that super simple. I can just throw the case in my workbench drawer and don’t have to worry about the files rubbing against each other getting worn out over time when I close and open the drawer.

Cheap, lots of different options, and they work pretty well for most projects. I've used them on metal (aluminum, steel) and wood to good effect.Do not place any lateral pressure on them, however, as I've already had one get snapped in half on accident. The metal isn't all that strong.

The file set is exactly what I expected to be. It came with a nice case to keep everything together. The files are made of steel and came with many different sizes and shapes to get the job done. The smaller files are good to get the smaller job done. I used the files to finish working on some polymer materials to smoothen up some edges. The varieties of the file shapes made it easy for me to get the job done. The handles on the files are also comfortable. It looks like it is made with good quality materials and it should last a long time.

Great file set for the all kind of use. You get a nice file set and a nice storage case which is really nice. You get 4 large size files and you get a collection of smaller files to help get into those hard to reach spaces. The file blades are nice quality steel material and the handles fit nicely in your hand. Great value for the price since you get a complete set of files and a nice storage case. This collection should get your though most of your working needs.

When I first received this there was a broken piece. Bruce in their after sales dept immediately contacted me and sent me a replacement. The files are exactly what I was looking for. They work great! Although at first I couldn't see buying from them again I am now very pleased with the files and the company. So, I upgraded them to a five star and I wouldn't think twice about ordering in the future.

Received the set through quickly. Packaging great, and file holder sleeve works well. My issue is that when I first used one of the smaller files, the alloy snapped in half. Once it snapped, I then used my hands to see if I could snap the tip, which I was able to without much difficulty. If you need tools that you want to last, I suspect these are not what you're looking for. If you need tools for a one-off job, these will probably do the trick.=>Update - I was contacted by the seller and they kindly sent a replacement set. Customer service has been exceptional to date. Haven't used the new set yet, but will do soon and will update my review. Would purchase again. Moved stars from 2* to 3*

Purchase this set of files for some occasional touch up job for my metal shop. There is only 1-2 piece is for woodworking only . Others work on metal job . I am happy to have a collection of some many files for this price . The storage bag is great too. It holds the files in place. I should not have hard time to find small file any more .
