Jarrow makes PS 100 in two forms and I prefer the kind in the white bottle with the sunflower based PS. Though it is not stated what is in this bottle, I believe they are using the same soy based PS that is found in the PS 100 that Jarrow has in black bottles. Since the white bottle, sunflower based PS is in capsules and the black bottle, soy based PS is powder in capsules, just like this Neuro Optimizer, that is my guess, but Jarrow doesn’t say.The black bottle indicates that it contains soy, which is probably GMO soy, since it doesn’t indicate that it is non-GMO . The other ingredients are: “Cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), natural mixed tocopherol and ascorbyl palmitate. Capsule consists of gelatin.”The white bottle contains “a concentrated form of phosphatidylserine from sunflower lecithin”, plus the other ingredients “Medium chain triglycerides, sunflower lecithin, silicon dioxide and an antioxidant blend. Softgel consists of gelatin, glycerin and purified water.”The key thing to note is that the white bottle includes medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), which are helpful for brain function. So, if you have been using the PS 100 in the white bottle, as I have, be aware that although you are adding some other “neuro-nutrients & protectants”, you will be losing the MCT that is in the white bottle PS 100.

Out of desperation, I decided to try based on reviews and because jarrows has a good reputation on other supplements that have worked for me in the past . I can say with certainly that my memory and the ability to retain information has skyrocketed! Its been about two months and I can tell the difference. I’m taking biochemistry ( in my 40s) and I was not doing well, ( party because I’ve been out of school so long ) but I need the class to advance my career. Anyway I started taking the pills and now I’m like the top of my class from a miserable bottom !No joke ! I did not change study habits or anything, so it must be the pills . It’s worth a try guys! I used to have trouble remembering where I parked my car; not anymore. Please try especially if you over 40 and your having these kinds of problems. The only thing is that you might have to adjust the dose based on how you feel. The recommended 4 pills a day made me groggy mid morning ( I sleep like a rock btw ) 3 pills works well for me

I think this helps me with alertness during the day. But very interestingly, I noticed, as I continued to use this I started waking up in the morning. Normally, I never really wake up. I just get out of bed because I have to. But normally I could sleep literally the entire day with no issues. I could sleep all day and evening for weeks. Now it’s so amazing that I find I actually wake up in the morning. So bizarre to realize that other people have probably always experienced this. Somehow, whatever is in this supplement - seems to be having a built up effect helping with waking cycles. I have absolutely no issues with being sleepy in the evening or falling asleep though. I love it.

This product is excellent however, if you start paying attention to ingredients you can save a lot of money by buying the ingredients to implement in your exercise routine. Taurine, creating, glutamine can all be bought separately and in larger quantities to help you save money. Be wise! They increased the prices too much on this one. Insane

The ingredients are spot on! I have taken most of these as separate..cdp choline, PS, alcar, etc for a long time. Each have had positive effects and have a lot of research backing the positive effects. Many double blind studies to back up their claims. Especially alcar, cdp choline & PS. . l-glutamine is hit or miss with me - it can produce more glutamate if you don't get enough B6 to convert to gaba & it's hard to explain. I take this in the morning with L-tyrosine (raw construct for dopamine), DHA, & a B-right supplement that contains the methyl form of B12 & folate. Very important..B6 is also crucial for the synthesis of dopamine as well as antioxidants. I really do agree with all of the chosen ingredients. cdp choline is preferred by me over alpha choline b/c of the 20 years double blind research. I can't say enough about alpha lipoc acid..it's a powerhouse antioxidant. ALCAR will stimulate the brain and act as an antioxidant. It crosses the blood brain barrier unlike it's non aceytlized version l-carnitine. PS has so much research on how it helps protect neurons, etc..I haven't found a better combination - This saves me a bit of money with combining everything I took as separate. It recommends 4 capsules for the full dosage..I feel I only need 2 - take this in the morning b/c you could get hit with insomnia otherwise. These are brain stimulating ingredients & I'm a slow metapolizer (thanks 23 & me) - Again, so glad it does not have caffeine.
