Ninja Camp Hardcover – Picture Book, January 8, 2019

I bought this for a friend's son who's into ninjas and he's going to love it. The rhyme is perfect and the illustrations are adorable.

I bought this for my grandson and I know he will love it.Great concept for kids who love ninjas!

Why we chose this book:T is super into ninjas right now, and the description of Ninja Camp sounded like something I'd be happy to read to him. Running Press Kids provided a review copy in exchange for an honest review.Mom's ReviewNinja Camp is pretty much what the title tells you. A group of children is welcomed to ninja camp. They learn stealth, speed, and discipline. They compete with the neighboring camp in a capture-the-flag style game, but with a katana sword instead of a flag. At the end, they demonstrate their new skills and keep the sword in their camp. It doesn't sound like much, but it really is.Ninja Camp is written in perfectly paced, well-crafted rhymes. I like a good rhyming narrative, such as the Llama Llama stories or Little Blue Truck, and this one hits the mark. The children's faces show varying degrees of confidence at the start (as well as varying shades of skin). They progress through the lessons at camp, with varying levels of competence, until engaging in a friendly competition with a rival camp from across the lake. The ninja kids from each camp try out their new skills against one another without hurting anyone. The focus here is on agility, skill, and self-control. Finally, once our "Ninjas of the Night" regain the Shadow Blade (the ersatz flag), but not on the first attempt, all children cheer and celebrate their newfound skills and confidence. The positive messaging prevails throughout this ninja-centric picture book.Ninjas, self-confidence, self-control, and fun. Get your hands on this book ASAP!This book is amazing. The rhyme is fantastic - so fun to read out loud with a bumpy beat. The illustrations are bold and really capture the magic of ninjas. And oh - hey, what’s this —> GIRL NINJAS! That’s right, because girls can certainly be ninja warriors right along with the boys. (My son totally noticed that there were girl ninjas - and that's exactly why illustrations like this are so important!)I am over the moon about this one. The Ninja Creed is just fantastic, and I love reading the whole book aloud. I can't say enough good things about this book. 5 stars all around.

This was so cute! 💜 The illustrations are rich and vibrant. I loved the rhyme to the story.I can see kids loving this book! I mean who didn't want to be a ninja growing up? 😂I received a promotional copy that I voluntarily read and reviewed.

This book has it all—a great storyline, a wonderful cast, and a text that sings. I’m ready to pack my bags and head for Ninja Camp!

Buyer beware ! I bought this book from amazon and ordered a hard cover book. I received a book with just a jacket and then no cover. See photos below. Looks like a cute book. So disappointed since this is a gift for a little kid.
