Very Slim, Economical Digital Watch
As other reviewers have pointed out, LCD watches with white numbers on a black background are more difficult to read than the traditional black-on-gray. However, I have found it is not difficult to read in moderate to bright light environments, and is very easy to read in daylight. In darker lighting, you may need to use the backlight to read the time. The watch has more modes than most basic digital watches. In order, the watch features time (12/24 HR), one alarm, stopwatch, second time zone (DT - "dual time"), and a countdown timer (TR). The ordering is a little different than usual... this has alarm before stop watch, which is slightly annoying, but this is my only real complaint. It beeps when you switch modes, with a slightly higher pitched beep when you cycle back to main time. The button layout is mostly standard, with upper-left for backlight. lower-left for mode switch, upper-right for start/stop, and lower-right for reset. You can switch between 12 and 24-hr format with the upper-right button directly from the main time screen. This may be a nice feature for some people, although it is completely unnecessary to me.The countdown timer is cumbersome to set, but not terribly so. Having a second time zone (DT) is useful for pilots who want to have a mode that shows Zulu Time (UTC).The "crystal" is plastic, and seems to scratch fairly easily. My watch is 3 days old and has three light scratches, but it doesn't affect my ability to read the time. Keep in mind, it is a twelve dollar watch. It is *very* thin, the face is large enough to be easy to read, and the band is surprisingly comfortable. From afar, it could easily be mistaken for a more expensive smartwatch, although when you look at it closely the edges from the plastic moulding give it away. For a watch in this price range, it ticks off all of the right boxes for me.

these watches are okay. worth the money.
i have bought 2 watches from this manufacturer and the watches function fine. do what i need etc. the bands and connecting pins aren't great and have been smallish or flimsy. i broke the band on the first one and had to repair the pin with a paper clip because the size didn't match with the watch repair kit i was able to find. the second watch i got scratched on the first weekend and the band was too small but after getting a different band for about $3 from amazoni really like the watch.

not as simple as I would like it to be
It was a little hard to set up and its sometimes hard to read the time, but I do like it. okay, now that I've had this watch for some time I have to change my review of it. I just don't like it for several reasons. Well, I do still like the band. That's good but it's hard to get the settings right and then, after you do get them done, they easily get changed by accidently hitting the buttons. Can't tell you how many times I've tried to read the time and it's been changed to something like 14 o'clock. Right now the top like says Sun 3-25, which is fine, but the bottom line says 16-58.09 , so it's 16 o'clock. If I'm trying to read it in the dark, I have to start pushing buttons and then it gets messed up when I push a wrong button. I don't know why I can't find a simple watch that just has the day, date, and time

Great for the price, has a few design issues but it’s cheap
Perfectly acceptable watch for the price. It’s not perfect but then again it’s very cheap. I came from a Fitbit charge 3 that I had for a year before it crapped out on me unexpectedly, and didn’t feel like paying the price for another smart watch. The pros: it gets the job done. It’s main mode displays date and time, which I like. It’s cheap and relatively durable as well! It’s got a button to turn on a backlight to see it in the dark. The cons: the setup process is kind of awkward. The buttons are placed on the sides such that I’ll often accidentally hit them when I bend my wrist, causing the watch to switch modes set alarms, which is a pain. The watch could honestly do with a few less features in exchange for less buttons to be accidentally hit. Bottom line: for the price, this watch will get the job done and is easy to see in light or dark. However, don’t be expecting the quality that comes with a more expensive watch

Would buy again.
I got this for my oldest so he doesn't get in trouble at school for constantly checking the time on his phone. He normally doesn't keep anything on and says that everything is uncomfortable. This one is actually part of his daily attire. The band keeps him from building up sweat around his wrist while he is running and playing. He is able to jump in the shower with it (I don't know if he should, but he likes it that much.) This is thin enough for him to sleep in it comfortably. The display is a perfect size and it is stylish.

Buy this watch
Love this watch so much! I use every feature. The date, alarm, stop watch, timer, and also the dual time. Super useful at work. I try not to pull out my phone too much so this is definitely helpful. Came in super simple packaging and was extremely easy to program. You can pretty much figure it out yourself. I was able to set everything up. The only reason I looked at the instructions was to see how to switch between 12hr and 24hr modes. Also took a shower with the watch on and it survived like a champ. I highly recommend this watch to anyone interested. It does exactly what you need it to, and more.

Great looking watch but... Strap not long enough for men's watch, not really water resistant.
Great looking watch. Works well in all modes.Only real issue is the watch strap is almost to short for a men's watch. I am of average high and weight and my wrist are not abnormally large, that being said, I have to set the watch strap 2 notches from the end and that is a snug fit. Says water resistant. I’ve hade mine for only 5 months and it does not work anymore, I changed batteries still nothing wore it swimming and after that stopped working.

Someone at work thought it was a smart watch, due to the more modern styling
Hey, it's a watch! It didn't cost a whole lot, and it has a reasonable amount of features for the price. Someone at work thought it was a smart watch, due to the more modern styling.I have not pushed the waterproof-ness of it as of yet. I'm sure it will hold up for hand washing and showers, but I'll probably not wear it swimming, just to be safe.

Can't tell the time!
Without doubt this is a nice looking watch at an amazing price, BUT it is very difficult to tell the time with it! The photo of the watch is with the brightness held on, probably in a darkened room (and then the photo cut out with a white background). You can't see the time very well indoors in daylight. It's better outdoors or at night with the light button. Frankly I think it is this cheap because the manufacturers realise that they have the illumination too low. I still wear it for sport (outdoors) and when indoors my wife laughs at me when she ask me the time knowing it will take me 5 minutes to get the right angle to see!

Recommended for occasional or specific uses, and where price point is a crucial factor.
I bought this watch for a specific purpose, which is just to use at the gym as a timer. For that purpose, it works great. It is slim and reasonably light, and looks good if you like a modern, minimalist aesthetic. Best of all, it didn't break the bank. I don't regret deciding on this watch for my purposes. For occasional use, it's 5 stars. But if I were looking to purchase it as something to have on at all times, I would give it a miss even at the low price point. The obvious negative is the brightness of the clock face when the LED light is not on. It is simply not readable except under almost perfect conditions. When the LED is on, it reads just fine, but you have to press the button and the light only lasts 2 seconds. Yes, it is enough time to read it, but I usually end up pressing it twice to be certain I read the thing right before the stingy LED Gods took their light away (again), and I'd wager most people do the same. In an age of watches that can make phone calls and order groceries at a touch, having to press twice just to tell the time should be a deal breaker for most.

Good value, but plastic face.
Well so far, its been water-proof from showering. Unlike many other watches I have purchased this does not aggravate my skin. Its almost not there. The only downside I would say is the face, its just plastic and not hardened glass so will scratch easily. That said for 12 quid I'm hoping I'll get a couple of years use out of this.

Very disappointed
If only I got a penny for every time I wore this watch and buttons on it were randomly pressed while I went about my day. I would maybe get the money I wasted on this then.Would not recommend even if you get this for free.

Display is a little dim
Great price but I think you really get what you pay for. The display is a little dim but it does the job.
