Good quality and value
Awesome value. Quality wise it’s comparable to what I could purchase in the local shops but price is cheaper. Good starter kit which is what I was looking for. Thanks

Solid Intro to Leatherworking kit, but not for advanced/professionals
Update: After about a month of use I've lowered the rating to three stars, as the tools haven't held up well. The mallet has started to warp, the stamps don't have deep impressions and the stitch hole punches aren't straight. Still an okay gift for a beginner, but not quite right for a hobbyist or professional.I was looking to purchase a kit to hold me over until I can have my usual tools shipped to me, and decided on this one because of the variety of tools as well as the inclusion of a few items I didn't have or haven't used. I work with leather often, and while I don't think I would suggest this kit for someone who is a seasoned hobbyist or professional, it's a good value for a beginner and includes most of what you need to get a solid grounding in leatherwork basics. It's more extensive than a basic Tandy Kit, and after checking on the prices it was cheaper for me to get this than to seek out the individual tools. The tools themselves aren't excellent but for the value are as expected, leaning towards solid. This would be a really great gift for someone getting into leatherwork for the first time, and could be a good chance to try out techniques to see what tools you'd like to invest in later on.PROS: The biggest pro is by far the variety included. There are tools to complete almost any project with detailing, including stamping/tooling, beveling, stitching and daubers for dyeing. The kit came quickly and was packed well. Everything looked to be in good condition, with the exception of the hole-punch, which was a bit discolored but seems to work well regardless. The four stitch-punches were in a ziploc bag that still had some oil in it, which came off with a paper towel and seemed to prevent any rust. The ruler and measuring tape are accurate, the thread is strong and evenly coated, and the variety of rivet/snap colors is nice. The needle 'guide' card is very useful. The stamps are decent, and left strong indentations (see photo). There were no duplicates, and they seem about the quality of the basic Tandy stamps with a good blend of images and beveler/textures. The edge beveler is very sharp and glides smoothly. There are several tools I think I'll be using often, especially the stitch-groover, swivel knife and rivet setter.CONS: The mallet is offset just enough on one side to be noticeable, and indentations were left/chips fell off on the black side after the first use. The scissors aren't leather shears, and I'll be putting them in my art supplies instead of keeping them in this kit. The prong-stitching punch bent inwards after using it a few times, I bent it back with some pliers I had on hand. The carpet needle shattered on first use, and the others appear to be of similar quality. Reluctant to use much force on the awls, but they're likely fine for thinner leather. I will likely be replacing the following tools, and don't recommend purchasing the kit if these are the things you're looking to use often: Mallet, scissors, prong-punches, sewing needles, leather thimbles, and the rivets/snaps.Overall I'm pleased I bought this kit, and am alright with replacing some of the lower-quality items as they're easy to find. Worth the purchase to have the variety of specialty tools on hand.

Edited review - Great starter kit but some items are poorly made
I've been using the kit for a few weeks now and overall very happy with it. Some items however are poorly made and after the first time I could not use. Some items on the other hand are great.Follow up: After I posted my initial review I was contacted by the seller asking which items where poorly made and seller offered to make it right by me. To be clear out of the items I've used, I've had issues with the the creaser and groover. They sent me a replacement kit (less items but one the included the 2 items). The new creaser is much better and works well. As for the groover, I have not used it yet, but I believe the issue will be the same - the leather blocks the little blade and after that it does not groove. The seller indicated that they will be working with the manufacturer to fix this issue and improve the tool. I accordingly adjusted my rating to 4 starts and would recommend this kit as a great starter kit for leatherworks.

Buy before it sells out
Greatest value for the amount of pieces you receive! Everything came wrapped and in a box. All of the items came as described and very good quality. Highly recommend for a first time set since you will have a good variety to choose from.Box was also bough on Amazon and holds so much! Still room left over for more.

Decent beginner or hobbyist kit.
Most of the kit I would deem as adaquite, and of moderate quality. The service was excellent and prompt, the bevelor is one item I would say is poor, and out of bag would not Bevel leather. It’s a decent starter or light hobbyist use kit. And for money was a good value.

Great for first timers or looking to get back into it.
Step dad used to work leather when he was younger. Some of the tools are less than amazing like the mallet. He has been using them and so far likes them.

Product description, check. Value, check! Highly recommended
I am a beginner to leather working. I was apprehensive about purchasing all I needed to get started. This kit was exactly what I needed! It’s got everything and I haven’t had to go to the craft shop for a single tool. This kit has it all! I highly recommend it for the product and the value as the price was cheaper than most other kits and this one came with so many more pieces!

Well worth the price!
You get so much for your money! The kit has so many useful things, especially for people first getting into leather working. The creator even includes a little book she made herself that explains how to use the items and techniques for leather working. It's crazy how much stuff I got for the price. I definitely recommend!

Great value
I’ve made two knife sheaths using this kit. I’ve been satisfied with the stamps, pricks, and scribe. I tossed the scissors, they couldn’t cut paper. It’s a great starter kit for the price.

Nice Starting Point to begin with Leather projects!
I still haven't used all the tool's but have had wonderful results with what projects I've already done! The photo is just one of the projects I've already finished but have given away many other key fobs to Friends and Family!
