I only needed one of the triangle-y nut things for my Fusion
I sort of want to give this thing one star because of Ford's design for it, but whatever. I have a 2011 Ford Fusion, and I only needed one of the two triangle-y things that tighten against the clamp and keep it from wiggling when it's on the positive terminal. The bolt from this product is different than the one on my Fusion, but the triangle-y part works.I've attached a picture of the clamp on my battery - as you can see, I was missing the bottom part of the two-part thing, which was needed to hold the bolt in place and raise the top part so it would be flush against the clamp. That is the only reason I bought this product. I couldn't find a suitable replacement at a hardware store. You could probably find it at a salvage yard, but the yards around here don't seem to be open on weekends, so I decided to risk it and see if that tiny part of this product would work.I can't speak as to whether the whole thing would work as a replacement on a Fusion positive terminal replacement. But if you lose one of those tiny triangle-y things like I did, this is a better alternative than paying $100+ to Ford to replace the entire battery wiring harness.

Perfect fit for my F150
First of all I want to be very clear on something. This terminal is not only used on the Ford Edge and the MKX, it is also used on the 2013 F150. But Ford does not sell this terminal for the F150, you have to buy the whole positive cable assembly at about $250.00. I did a lot of research before I purchased this one and it saved me about $240.00. The part is exactly as advertised and arrived in the ford packaging as shown. It took me some time to figure out how to install it since I did not want to cut and shorten the cable, because God forbid they give you an extra inch of cable. Plus the open barrel crimper for this type of terminal is a few hundred bucks. After cutting the old one with a dremmel, I did a partial crimp to align the ends, slide it onto the cable and crimped it with a screw and a pair of pliers, I didn't have shrink tubing so I wrapped it in electrical tape. came out perfect and no issued what so ever. If your not handy get it done by someone who is. Once you cut the old one there's no turning back.

Almost a solution for the Mustang (2011+)
I searched high and low for an inexpensive solution for my positive battery cable. As others have already posted, this will work with specific F150 model years, but it will not work with the Mustang 5.0 (2011+). The problem is that the crimp portion of the clamp needs to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise because the crimp of this clamp will interfere with the "circuit breaker" portion of the positive battery cable on the Mustang. As of this review options are finding a harness in a junk yard or pay Ford's exorbitant fees for a single cable. So, so, close.

Works fine
Was told by the dealership it would cost hundreds to replace the positive batter cable in my 2012 F150. The factory battery started corroding the connection within the first year after buying the truck. Finally the connector to the positive battery post was weak enough it was time to do something. Did some research online and found some had recommended this as a cost effective alternative to replacing the whole harness. You don't have to have the specialized crimping tool but you will need to make sure the connector is crimped sufficiently so that it does not come loose. After removing the old connector, I sued battery cleaner to clean the positive wire end and terminal, then applied dielectric grease to prevent new\continued corrosion and crimped this one in place. I have checked the terminal now over the last few months and no new corrosion. No issues with starting etc.

Direct fit for 2011 F-150 XLT!
Works for 2011 F-150 XLT. OEM part in a motorcraft bag. This is for the POSITIVE side battery terminal. This part requires crimping and removal of a factory crimp/compression fitting on the terminal that is connected to a 2 AWG wire in the wiring harness. Unless you have a decent set of cable crimpers you should probably have a shop do this install, you'll still be money ahead. If you have the right tools its a fairly easy job. Saved me from having to have to buy a $250 wiring harness to replace a broken terminal clamp. The terminal was heavily corroded and the clamp was broken, this fixed the problem. The original clamp on my truck had a 8mm head on the nut, this part has a 10mm nut, other than that, no issues.

2011 F150 Battery Clamp
Part arrived ahead of time and is a true OEM part. This part works on several models. I am with the rest of the f150 owners. Not sure why Ford thinks it is ok to sell this as a replacement for the Edge but not the F150. This is the same exact part on the F150 and fits perfectly. If you are replacing this part due to corrosion and you have a Motorcraft battery, check around the positive terminal post for separation from the plastic. Motorcraft batteries have a defect and the plastic around the terminal will begin to separate and allow battery acid to leak/splash onto the terminals. The terminal post on my battery became so lose that you could easily wiggle it.

Yes, replaces positive battery terminal on 2013 F-150
Disconnect battery and remove from battery box to give yourself more room. I cut off old positive terminal at base of factory crimp with bypass wire cutters. Just enough remaining cable to make new compression connection. Used my 10-ton hand-held hydraulic battery terminal crimper; bought it at Amazon for ~$50 a few years back for golf cart battery maintenance.Think twice before using vise grips to make the compression connection as the final connection is under tension due to slightly shorter cable length.Very pleased.

Worked great for 2012 F150
Worked wonderfully for my 2012 F150. I had an electrician buddy come over to crimp the #2 wire. I was afraid to do it myself with plyers etc.. The Ford people are insane. Once the terminal is corroded broke you cannot even get out of your garage to have it towed if you wanted to and Ford will not sell you just the terminal. Idiocy.
