I purchased this second copy for a friend who is recuperating from a long illness. I already have it and loved it so much that we are reading for our bookclub at Church..St Paisios has so much wisdom and it was a blessing that the good sisters recorded what he said before passing. May his memory be eternal. By the way his other four books are also wonderful..

A phenomenal spiritual guide, Elder Paisios is sweet, simple, charming, clear in thought, funny and loving. This entire series of books is wonderful. In a question and answer format, it is easy to pick up and read at any time. My college age children have loved them as well and these books have helped bring my children peace while navigating college life. Volume 4 (recently translated into English) will be under the Christmas tree for them this year!

Best religious book I've read in a long time.

Buckle up for an intense spiritual ride. Don't hurry through this excellent book or you'll miss some of the fantastic content. I'll be rereading this one for years to come.

An incredible book...highly recommended especially for those seeking answers about pain and suffering.
