Detail in Contemporary Landscape Architecture

I must admit that I thought this book was going to be a graphic design book focusing on landscapes. Seems to me that it's really about augmenting building architecture with landscape/garden options. Which is great because I haven't really considered buildings... until now. I'm impressed with the book, it has opened my eyes a little more.

I was very excited to see the book arrived still in its plastic cover and included the CD that accomanies the book. The book did take a little longer to arrive than the other books I ordered on the same date. Otherwise it arrived in excellent condition and I was very happy with the service.

The book very goodIt is a lot of helpful information for architects and designers.On the book it is applied cdrom with all drawingsThere is only one minus, on drawings there are no signatures, such as in the book.In the rest - all is good.

I thought this would be a little more in depth, but it is cool none the less. It has a cd with some bare bones CAD details that featured in the book. At the end of the day, this is more of a coffee table book, than an educational, or research book.

Some examples inside of landscape architecture but technically complicated at least for me. I got it cause I m interested in the subject but found it a bit complicated inside.

I like it, but I didn't get my free CD-Rom with all the drawings. Truly bummed about that!

Good projects, good detail. I reccomend, though I found "Timber architecture" better.

I like and find this book very usefull for architects. It seems to me a good buy for the people interested in architecture

As a young landscape architect, sometimes some subjects are lapsed. This book is a clear, simple and very well organized. I highly recomende this for all. 5/5.

Although this book should be coming with an enclosed CD, (and I know it does have a CD since I have seen it in another person's book) I have not received one despite placing the order twice. Amazon.ca is supposed to be either correctly this picture or making sure that their stock actually has the CD. Very disappointed to not receive the CD as expected although I did end up receiving a courtesy discount.Bottom line is if you really want to have the CD and the picture still indicates that you should be receiving it, be aware that there is a possibility that this is a misleading picture.
