Great book and very informative take on starting and running a design firm. If you’re interested in this topic, I think you’ll like it. We’ll written and easy to read!

I love this book. Easy to follow, well laid out, practical information. It's also designed with designers in mind, so aesthetically it looks and feels nice which, for me, makes it easier to take in the business-info. Love it, would buy it again, it is required reading for my assistants and interns.

I appreciate how thorough and concise this book is. Keith Granat was able to distill 30 years of experience into a clear and easy to read book. All of the visual aids were extremely helpful in illustrating his points. Well done!

I wish I had this book earlier in life!!! It effectively delineates the design business and how to handle certain situations in the profession. I strongly recommend this book to anyone in the design/consulting business. It is a nice read from cover to cover or a nice reference book for anyone in the profession.//Chuck

I know Keith professionally and I had wanted to get his book for some time now. So happy I did! I've found it to be such an insightful & useful tool for planning the growth of my business and its full of clear examples of how to apply them. Kudos to Keith and his team...a must read!

From the reviews I expected the book to apply much more to interior decorating which is not the case. The content seems good, but it's not what I was looking for. Seems ideal for an architect.

Well presented references

Designer's are usually good at design but don't know much how to structure their business of design which is uber important to build a viable business, make money and keep doing for a long time

Very good for just graduate designers, much less for a 3-4 years experienced designer.I would like a vol.2 with a more detailed focus on product/industrial design.
