The Bug-Slaying Elixir Your Home Needs
Alright, let’s be real for a second. If you’re still using those chemical-laden sprays that probably have more warnings on the label than your phone’s Terms of Service, it’s time to upgrade to Mighty Mint Gallon Insect and Pest Control Peppermint Oil. This isn’t your average bug spray, this is peppermint-powered, pest-slaying, ninja-level pest control. It’s like the Chuck Norris of pest repellents, but with less roundhouse kicks and more peppermint. First off, let’s talk about the smell. You know how some bug sprays make you feel like you’ve been trapped in a toxic wasteland for 24 hours? This stuff smells like you just walked into a spa, but like a bug-fighting spa. A minty, refreshing cloud of “I am in control of this household” hovers around you. It’s like fresh breath, but for your entire home, and bugs are definitely not invited to this minty fresh party. And don’t let the “natural” part fool you. This is no soft and wimpy pest repellent. No, no. It’s peppermint oil at its finest, proven to make bugs, like spiders, ants, and cockroaches, turn tail faster than you can say “I’m not dealing with this today.” You won’t find any creepy crawlies hanging around after a spritz, and the best part? Your pets and kids are safe from the nastiness in those traditional sprays. The only thing they’ll notice is a pleasant peppermint breeze, which honestly, is a nice change from the usual “Oh no, bugs everywhere!” vibe. PROS: • Natural and safe: It’s peppermint oil, folks. No chemicals, no harm, just pure, bug-fighting goodness. • Effective: Bugs hate peppermint, and this oil gets the job done. Your house will be bug-free faster than you can say, “Where’s the bug spray?” • Fresh scent: Forget about that noxious, overpowering smell of traditional insecticides. This stuff smells like a peppermint breeze. Ahhhhhh. • Big bottle: 128 oz of this minty goodness? You’ll have enough to protect your home like a bug-fighting fortress for the next several seasons. • Pet-friendly: Because your pets deserve a bug-free zone, too. It’s safe for them, just keep them away from where you spray! CONS: • A little too much peppermint: If you’re not a fan of mint (who are you?), this could be a bit of a sensory overload. So, if you’re ready to reclaim your space and show the bugs who’s boss (hint: it’s you, armed with a gallon of peppermint power), grab Mighty Mint Gallon Insect and Pest Control Peppermint Oil. Your house will be bug-free, minty fresh, and protected like a fort, with zero nasty chemicals involved. It’s basically the superhero of pest control, and it’s here to save your home. Plus, you’ll never look at a spider the same way again—because it knows you’ve got peppermint power on your side.

Effective with good smell
Worked better than expected! Odor does get pretty strong but not unbearable. Love not having to worry about kitty getting ill when using. Spiders be gone!

Temporary Ant killer
I bought the giant bottle with the hose sprayer a year and a half ago. All the parts are still working, I have lots of pets and have had no issues. Smells great, I spray on baseboards inside and out doors on perimiter. Now does it work... I am not sure, I would probably have to spray weekly. I use this with ant traps that are borax based. It kills on contact but I live in So CAL and it is very dry here and the black ants are insane for us. They come up the drains, out of wall sockets, love cat food and anywhere near water. The never get in the trash at all. It is so weird. It has been three years now where they keep coming back every few weeks. I would say I feel using this helps and I feel it is safe for my pets, but this spray requires you to spray over and over again. It is not a long term deterrant for this ants at my house.

Effective Mighty Mint Repellent Spray
Mighty Mint Peppermint Oil Insect Repellent Spray effectively kills and repels a variety of insects naturally and safely. I prefer using this wonderfully scented and nontoxic repellent over chemically based repellents around my home. This potent repellent needs to be used sparingly, especially if you have sensitivities. Alternatively, It can also be sparingly and repeatedly used as a cat deterrent on soft surfaces and around plants.

Decent deterrent but won’t cure an infestation.
I live in a suburb near woods and a swamp so I get a lot of pests. I’ve used this product for a variety of insect and rodent problems and my overall verdict is this: it’s decent at both but it’s too weak to deal with a serious problem. Here are my personal experiences with each pest I’ve used it on: Mice - this stuff definitely seems to deter mice but if they’ve already set up camp in your home, it won’t agitate them enough to leave permanently. I sprayed an area where I spotted a mouse come into my room, and I saw with my own eyes the mouse run in, and then immediately turn around and run out. Sadly though, even after making my house reek with the smell of mint for a few days, the mice never completely left and the problem wasn’t dealt with until we zapped them with a kill trap. If you have a mouse problem this will help give you something to fight back with, but don’t rely solely on this alone to solve the problem, back it up with some traps or maybe even an ultrasonic pest repeller. Ants - ants DO NOT care and were the least affected out of all the pests I tested this on. At best they’ll stay away for a moment but will be back in full force the moment the scent dies down, or they’ll just change routes undeterred. We had a really bad ant infestation where they were crawling all over the house, in the cabinets, in our beds, everywhere. This stuff did virtually nothing to help the problem. We eventually won the battle by spraying Raid on several of their trails and placing several Raid Ant Baits around key areas but mint doesn’t seem to do as much to stop ants as people claim, at least not for a problem as serious as the one we had. If you’re dealing with an ant problem I can’t overstate how important it is to get good ant baits, because until you kill the queens their numbers will simply never end. Spiders - spiders won’t like this but again, it’s not going to help with even a mild infestation where they’ve already gotten cozy in your home. I tried to use this to get rid of several dozen Cellar Spiders in our basement and it didn’t produce the results I would have liked. More often than not, the spiders would be right back in the areas I sprayed the next day. I found Ortho Home Defense to be more effective at both deterring and killing them, and it has since become my “go to” for dealing with most bugs. Squirrels - We had a couple of squirrels tear into our attic recently and I furiously blasted the last of my mint spray up there in retaliation. To its credit it did seem to cause them to flee for a day, but they were determined to make our attic their home, and came back the very next day when the scent died down. We ended up blasting loud music and threw the last of my essential oils up there to get them out again and then sealed up the entrances. If you loaded this stuff into a water gun and fired it at some squirrels or groundhogs invading your bird feeder or garden, that might be an effective, non-lethal way to help stop them, but like the mice they’ll probably be more stubborn if you’re specifically trying to dislodge them from nesting in or around your home so be sure to keep reapplying until they give up. Flies, Gnats, Moths, Mosquitoes and Crane Flies - As far as insects go, this category seems to be what this stuff is most effective against. Mosquitoes and Crane flies were getting into my house through the Air Conditioner during the summer so I repeatedly sprayed the back end of my AC outside and it seemed to help when regularly reapplied. Bear in mind though I wasn’t dealing with an infestation with this group like the other insects, just discouraging some wanderers from getting near my AC. If you have an especially bad problem with this category of dusk/night pests, some sticky blue light traps would probably be a better alternative for indoors and a bug zapper would probably be better outdoors, especially when combined with an outlet timer. Despite my rating, I like Mighty Mint and appreciate it as a solid, all-purpose pest control spray, but the price tag combined with my somewhat mixed results compels me to give it a moderate 3 stars. It’s best use in my opinion is as a holistic, preemptive deterrent if you don’t mind reapplying it regularly and is especially effective against rodents, but it won’t singlehandedly save you from an infestation and there are better alternatives for insects.

EFFECTIVE FOR GNAT REPELLENT - THEY WILL LEAVE
This peppermint spray was purchased to fight an indoor gnat infestation. The particular gnats in our house left when this was sprayed. They eventually came back, because this spray doesn’t kill them; however, for 1-3 days it kept them away. This allowed us to experience fast results (gnats going away) while we employed more effective long-term gnat treatment. This spray repelled the gnats immediately in the short-term. Then, the other methods we used applied more effective, long-term results that took longer (thus having this spray was helpful in the interim).

Good Quality product
This is my second (or third) time buying one of these big gallon pest repellents. It smells strong but pleasant and I think has really improved our outdoor space. We live on 1 acre in Texas so insects and pests are a plenty. But I spray this around our front, back and patio areas to help keep bugs away. I’ve definitely noticed an improvement from using it as I continue to buy it and I can apply it 3-4 times all over before needing a new gallon. Great packaging, easy to use, we’ve never had any issues with leakage or the spray not working.

Mighty but Good
I’ve been using the Mighty Mint Peppermint Oil Insect Repellent Spray for a few days now, and it has quickly become one of my go-to household essentials. The first thing you notice is the fresh, natural peppermint scent—it’s a very strong but clean scent, and way more pleasant than the harsh chemical smells most bug sprays leave behind. The 16 oz bottle is a generous size and the spray nozzle works well, delivering an even mist without clogging. A little goes a long way, though for heavy bug-prone areas, you may need to reapply more frequently than traditional chemical sprays. Still, I actually prefer that trade-off, knowing I’m using something safe and eco-friendly. Overall, Mighty Mint is an effective, natural alternative for pest control. If you’re looking for a safe, non-toxic way to repel bugs with the added bonus of a refreshing minty scent, this spray is worth it. This may burn your eyes and nose if you aren't careful. This scent is very strong so if you are sensitive to smells this may be something you may want to test before using on your whole house.
