OrthoStep Waxed Very Thin Dress Round Shoelaces 2 Pair Pack - Made in the USA

A dark blue shoelace broke on one of my blue plaid dress shoes. In looking for a replacement I chose this item as it was about the length I needed. These are waxed and they are water resistant. I will say that the navy color is not as dark in person as I had hoped. I would still consider it navy blue - it is by no means royal blue or anything. I think I just had it in my head that it would be a little closer to something that is probably better described a midnight blue. It's not a defect of the product, just personal taste. That is the only reason I deducted one star.There's not much to say when it comes to these shoelaces. They work well. I like to tie my shoes really tight and the laces hold up to the strain with no effort. They also do a good job of staying tied and not slipping and loosening a lot. They are also a fair price considering that the order comes with 2 pairs of laces.It is possible that should I need to replace them in the future I may look for laces that are a little darker shade of blue. Still, aside from that these appear to be very good quality. They function exactly as they should and I have no regrets about buying them. I expect that anyone else who buys them will be pleased with their quality and functionality. I award 4 stars for these and do recommend them.

Have two pairs of black suede "Clarks" chukka boots...The shoes are pretty sharp, but the laces were all wrong...A bluish grey color, too wide/ropy, and I had no confidence in their strength...These (very fine) laces are the same width and color that came with my "Ecco" chukka boots I bought years ago...The picture is a pair of "Clarks" with these laces...At 24 inches long, they are nearly invisible under the pant leg...The original laces were 36 inches and nearly touched the ground...Durable and look great !!!RECOMMENDEDGood luck !!!

One of the laces was fraying and seemed about to snap on a pair of espadrilles of unusual design I bought a couple of years ago. I've been unable to contact the store and didn't think I'd be able to find thin enough laces to replace the ones they came with. Wasn't sure whether to get waxed or unwaxed and couldn't determine which of the two the originals were but I took a chance and went with the waxed. These are actually thinner than the originals and hold the knot better. Very pleased.

These are just what I wanted. They stay tied!! My last laces where were much thinner did not.FWIW, "VERY thin" is not what I'd call thin ... sortof thin ... on the thin side. But VERY thin seems to be the industry way of describing thin. It's like saying a drink at the theater is "large" when in fact it's humungus! It's not the right word, but I guess that's just the way the world is.

I'm the kind of person who, when my shoe laces break or get worn out, I just toss the shoes in a closet and buy new ones... Then, when the closet gets full, I start putting them into the closet in my husbands "office" room (don't tell him). Actually I had one pair of boots (Doc Martens) that I wore everyday for five years and I think I replaced the shoe laces once... but my most recent and new favorite pair of Dockers were too nice to stash in the office closet so I sought Amazon for replacement shoe laces.I came quickly came to find OrthoStep Waxed VERY THIN Dress Round Blacks. Ok. They're very thin. Are my current laces very thin? I wasn't sure but I took a gamble and ordered these. While they're thinner than the ones I had prior, they're actually incredibly tough and feel high quality - in fact, the issue with the old pair I had was that the outer fabric was separated from the inner tube and it was all down hill from there. That simply cannot happen with these simply because they're thinner. Score!They look very great with nice shiny brown Dockers - I prefer the thin look over the standard thickness. In regards to choosing the right size, Amazon's sizing chart was a little confusing, so I did a quick web search and found a site that translated "number of eyelets to centimeters". It was as simple as counting the eyelets on my shoes and picking the matching size in CM's - they fit PERFECTLY.Wearing them - simply put, they're easy to tie and stay tied very well throughout the day (I typically tie them once in the morning around 6AM and don't take them off until about 12 hours later - they've never come untied for me).The best thing about these shoelaces though? Two Pack! So when one of them eventually breaks down and needs replaced, I'm already covered. Can't beat that!

I was pleasantly surprised with these shoelaces. They don't look like much especially since I bought these for my Sperry men's shoe. I needed something because my original laces were starting fray really bad. After see these I was not impressed with the way they looked as they are very skinny. My original laces look about twice as fat as these. However, after getting them laced into my shoes and wearing them for about a month now, I have to admit they are holding very nicely. They don't come loose like my original ones did. I also didn't even know that it comes with 2 pairs so I have 4 laces. I guess I didn't read the description for that one. Anyway, I would highly recommend these laces for brown leather dress shoes. They work great and are very affordable.

5-STARS, no doubt!Excellent dress shoe laces. I have 5-hole Rockports and they work great. I bought 45", which I have decided might be a bit long for these shoes, but that's my own fault. I think I will hit radio shack and get some wire shrink wrap tabs and shorten these up just a bit.The quality is much better than the cheap laces you might by at Walmart, and these are better priced, especially if you are a prime member. Very quick delivery, and very responsive company, reaching out to me to make sure I'm happy with the product. Will buy these again.Follow-up: So even though it was my mistake ordering the wrong length, as soon as they saw my review, they immediately sent out another pair of laces to me at no charge.
