It's a fresh quality product and cooks up to a nutty taste and perfect texture. I needed to move away from white rice to a lower glycemic rice, but I still needed its low oxalate content due to significant kidney stone issues. Brown rice is moderate in oxalate, but sprouting reduces oxalate content by 60%. By soaking first and discarding the water, it further reduces the oxalate content to a level that is well within the acceptable range. Combined with a lower glycemic index and a taste much richer than white rice, this product is a triple win for me.

Really good overall and cooks really well. Typical of brown rice, is a little more chewy and has more body/flavor/nuttiness but is imo really nice if not better than white rice. Due to it being a whole grain, can have more of a potential for "invaders" along with lower shelf life. My advice, especially to eliminate and/or kill pre-existing potential "invaders, is to freeze it if you have the space. This does nothing to it for cooking since the grain is already dry. Also, do indeed rinse the grains pretty well along with soak for at least an hour.

We love this rice! As long as the price remains stable and doesn’t go up we will continue buying it! It’s expensive but we like that it’s American home grown food! There was a company in the Delta of Mississippi that we tried during Covid but it’s more expensive than this! Every now and again we will buy Thai Jasmine but this is our staple! Wife is Asian so rice is cooked almost every day!

The bag was pretty big and tasted fine. Better than brown rice I usually buy from Costco. The rice seems cleaner than the one I use from Costco.

Very easy and digestible, great flavor and texture. If you double cook in steamer you can make sticky rice without having to use a white bleached product. This is a staple in our house we have ordered at least 7 or more bags and each delivery is perfect quantity. No green or hard grains and always clean and ready to use . It had better flavor ( in my opinion ) than basmati rice and gose very well with some wild rice mixed together. We have eaten this rice with fish chicken beef pork and rabbit!

If you want a high volume this is it. Good taste etc

Delicious, cooks so fast. I’m curious if we need to worry about that heavy metal with this product.
