Works great!
Second one. First one that I got was left in the truck, in the heat, all summer and the battery swelled up and wouldn’t take a charge. (2-3 years old). This is the one and only remote option for the Milemarker winch that I have.

Nice and small
Nice and small, easy to connect. I was retrofitting a SuperWinch 3000 with this unit. I couldn't get any more than 10 feet away from the receiver. I tried new batteries in the remote and a new battery for my SuperWinch with no change in performance. When I would get beyond 10 feet, it would start to pulse on and off causing my load to jerk. The only thing I liked about this kit was the remote shape and size. I purchased a $25 universal kit that works much better than this.

Very easy to install and pictures are very straight forward
Very easy to install and pictures are very straight forward. This really is a plug and play system and works great! Wish I would have purchased sooner.

Works ok
So only 3 stars for now because I've only used it twice. It was easy to wire up. It holds a charge well. But I have found the range to be terrible. I use it to control the winch on my deck over trailer. It does have a tendency to cut in and out from time to time. Ok I know I have 100 ft of winch cable but have never had to spool it all out and nothing is in between the box and remote but air so I would think it should work a little better. I did burn our a relay on the winch and got a new one installed. I haven't gotten to use the winch since. So I'm hoping that was the problem ,but doubt it. I'll update after I get to use it more.

The remote is awesome. The plug for the winch could be simplified ...
It is expensive and clumsy/bulky but it works well. I bought this and rewired my XRC 9500 series winch with it (Different adaptors) making it a wireless winch. The remote is awesome. The plug for the winch could be simplified greatly and with a little modification you could trim the fat to the extent you loose the dongle entirely and bury the transmitter inside your existing winch cover.

Perfect
Great addition to my winch. Wired it right next to wired controller plug. Switch behind grill and remote hung inside the truck. Got it because wired controller relies on multiple pin connection that can break.

Range isn’t much more then 10ft
Pretty easy to install. I put mine on an old 3 pin mile marker winch. I had to cut off 3 of the connectors because they were too small to fit the solenoid posts. Once I got it all installed and working i tested it. I’m using it to load a pulling truck onto a trailer. Once I get in the truck at the back of the trailer the remote gets very spotty signal. It will cut out constantly. Then the receiver box just shuts off so then I have to go and turn off the winch then turn it back on to get the box to turn back on. If I stand about 15ft away of the winch and aim the remote directly at the box it will work. But at that point I might as well of just bought the long cord. Also the plug from the receiver box to the control box on the winch has terrible connection, I have to use a bungee cord to hold the plug in hard enough to get a good connection. Would not recommend this over a long corded manual controller. Just sucks that I had to cut the ends off of 3 of the 4 wires to use it or I would of returned it.
