Very good reference guide. Tons of information and equations.

Only Metric thread pitch data. No SAE thread data. Go for the Engineers "Black Book" and the Fasteners "Black Book"

Print is too small- hard to read. Book is only 4".

Good book. But it didn't have much in the way of symbol standards...

This is my 3rd pass at trying to get an desktop/pocket reference for everyday use after buying several books that provide useles data, e.g log table etc. Lucky for me 3rd time lucky. This is a fanatastic engineers reference. Clearly the chap who complied this knows his stuff and what constitutes useable mechanical workshop reference material.This give me a ready reference for most of the mechanical design work I do on a day to day basis and lots of useful workshop reference tools. I would recommend this book very highly over for instance Zeus Book and similar engineers pocket reference that pad out the books with data you would hardly use in this day and age.IMHO. I would say stop looking for a workshop, desk reference book/tables go ahead and buy this little book, its truely pocket size and will fit nicely into the top breast pocket of most lab coat, boiler suit type garments etc.Very much worth the purchase price

I've just received the Precision Data book from Amazon and am so pleased a mate suggested I buy it. I could see right away how useful it will be for me - convenient spiral binding , just over a tenner and containing all the info I need frequently.Full of charts , specs , speeds/feeds etc - a good replacement for Zeus which really needed updating but I couldn't bear to part with. So much more than 'Metric and Inch thread charts'- take it from someone who's actually using it and read the contents !
