Zinka Colored Nosecoat Zinc Oxide Based Water Resistant 2 Pack Bundle 0.6 Ounce Tube - Flesh

I have been using this nosecoat product to keep my nose and ears from burning from over exposure to the sun. My wife uses it as well. Easy to apply and will remain on the skin for a several hours in the sun. I vacation in Hawaii every winter and when at the beach it is my go to sun block. I use Elta MD brand sun screen to cover the remaking parts of my face. I can spend hours without a burn. Highly recommend this item.

This is a pretty thick paste and it’s actually nowhere near as dark as the tube itself. I’ve attached pictures of what it looks like right out of the tube and again rubbed in a bit.I haven’t used it outside yet, but I will say I think it will definitely work! I am still going to use regular broad-spectrum facial sunscreen underneath, since this has not been tested or proven to block UV-A or UV-B rays. I bought this to apply as an extra precaution at the beach since I have pretty fair skin (I have on fake tan in the pics lol).It does clearly have sunblocking ingredients though, and the very short list with no harmful chemicals is extremely appealing.I will update this review if I’m not happy with its performance, but so far it looks good!***UPDATE: I live in FL and tend to sweat when I’m out in the sun, and honestly, this stuff doesn’t have great staying power. I felt that I had to frequently dry off and reapply. So I would not recommend it if you’re planning to use it for sports or ocean/pool activities. But if you’re outside and tend not to sweat too much, I think it would stay pretty well.

I have melasma and wear sunscreen every day. I use this stuff DAILY. It's thick and on the sticky side, but I mix it with my concealer to cover my melasma and the sunspots I have near my eyes. This might be the only thing thick enough to keep those pesky spots from getting darker. I'm shocked at how well it works.I have fair skin and the color is light enough that it blends perfectly with my concealer. This stuff stays on all day and works super well with my SPF 50 powder -- I love it.

For me and I love this but I use it only on my cheeks and I work in the sun daily so it's a must for me. If I put it on my forehead I would get blemishes immediately. It's very thick but it definitely works. It must be a lot of wax in it because when it's cold it becomes almost impossible to squeeze out of the tube. The color makes it blend in so well that it's almost unnoticeable. If you have sun damage it would actually make your face look younger.

I do so much like the color of the product, my skin in the beginning was much lighter in color. This product made it seem where you applied it, was already tan.You need to rub it in very throughly.

I remember when I used to ski and everyone used this in pure white on their nose (surfers too). This color makes it look like you are wearing foundation but in a good way. I am a redhead and a freckle person. Chemical sunblocks always end up in my eye and burning. Fairly oily but it seems to soak in quick. Not cakey, matches my skin tone perfectly, long wearing and when I looked at pictures from my trip my husband kept saying, you look so good, like you are wearing really good stuff on your face that takes away the spots (foundation, freckles). A little goes a long way and this is a very reasonable price.

Used a few times just in back yard and kayaking in full sun all day to help protect melasma areas on face. Back yard seemed to help some , but it came out very light on olive skin tone and "melted" quickly. For kayaking, it did no good. Ran down the face quickly and sweat it all off within about 15 minutes. I gave it 3 stars just because I think it gives some coverage when not very hot outside, but again, it turns almost white when applied.

This stuff is fantastic. It's not a sunscreen that reduces UV penetration into your skin; rather, it is intended to be a complete block. It's good for spot covering the nose, perhaps cheeks, lips, and ears. It won't work well if you try to cover your whole face or large areas. I first apply a 70SPF traditional sunscreen, and then I apply Zinka over top on high risk areas.Prior to purchasing Zinka, it was not clear to me whether it would be OK for application to the lips. Many people are treated for lip cancers due to sun exposure, and I was pleased to find that Zinka applies easily and works great on the lips. Now, keep in mind that once you apply to the lips you will want to avoid licking your lips or eating lunch etc., but it will last a few hours if you are careful. I also am an avid distance runner and despite sweat and occasional drinks, Zinka holds up pretty well.Finally, the beige coloring is subtle and does not look ridiculous, and for women I would think this would be a huge benefit.Highly recommended!
