Only have had a couple months, but so far it works as good as the original - yet more compact, and - I have a feeling - sturdier in the long run. Let's face it, the MSFT originals don't last very long. Hoping this is better - but at the lower cost of these it's not that big a deal. Definitely great for traveling with its nice little included pouch.

I purchased the 'Surface Pro Surface Laptop Charger 65W [Updated Version], Compatible with Microsoft Surface Pro X Pro 7 Pro 6 Pro 5 Pro 4 Pro 3 Surface Laptop 3 2 1 Surface Book Surface Go 2 1 with Travel Case' for my Surface Pro 7. I had purchased the similar charger from the same company for my Surface 2 and been positively impressed with its performance and design. So far this power adapter has been just as good. The form factor isn't much larger than the charger that comes from the OEM. The bag is a nice addition, though having a zipper that only runs around two sides makes it a little unwieldy. Having the zipper only on one side or extending to three sides would be much more ergonomic. But compared to the price and availability of the OEM offering makes this a decent value.

This is the second charger I needed to buy for my MS surface Pro X. I am so happy with this one. It comes with a zippered case to hold it and extra plug in types depending on my charging needs. Awesome quality and charges quickly! I couldn't be happier and recommend this to everyone.

A good replacement or backup power supply for the Surface tablet. Construction seems a bit light-duty, but it does charge appropriately. Magnets on the connector are very weak and barely hold to the tablet, but as long as it's in a stable location during charging there should be no problem. This is a backup for me, as I forgot my charger when I traveled.

Came in a nice bag I don't use. Very long cable. I've had it a month or so, seems durable. The best part is the wall adapter that allows me to effectively cut the length in half when a charge port is close by. Very convenient.

Did not realize my original charger had likely been failing for a few months - Simply thought the battery was becoming weaker. Then one day it would not charge at all (no light on the charge cable connector.) The new charger kit was delivered in a few hours and my Surface Pro 5 now receives a FULL charge and performs wonderfully one again! A great Surface Pro charger at a very fair price.

As of currently, the charger has been holding up. I've been pretty rough with it and it seems like it'll be my go-to charger for my laptop. I'm more concerned about a harsh pinch point near the charger itself. The charging port works perfectly, the attachment is great for when I don't want to tangle myself with the other wires, and the best part, the USB charging port works, unlike my Microsoft one which broke. The battery pack itself does heat up quickly, make sure you ventilate it, put it up on a table or somewhere cool and you should be good to go.

I had been searching all over for a Microsoft brand charger, I bought a used one like new from amazon and it was 70+ with tax, and it did not work. I had to fumble with the cord to get it to work. I was scared to go off brand because of previous reviews. I have tested this charger multiple times, it does not make my mouse jump, the quality of the charger is similar to the Microsoft brand. I appreciate the travel case, it makes it convenient, easy for storage and protects my charger from harm. I read reviews saying that it would over heat, I checked my charger while charging and when done charging, it never changed in temperature. It was mildly warm but never hot. I also find that it is charging my laptop faster compared to the Microsoft one I purchased and the Microsoft one was actually heating up my laptop and the charger was hot as well. I highly recommend if you need to save some money, I will update as I continue to use.
