The Elves and the Shoemaker (Paul Galdone Nursery Classic)

Perfect gift for our one and three year old great-grandchildren!

This is our 8th Paul Galdone purchase. It was a Christmas gift for my 4 year old son. He loved it! I love reading it! The pictures are sweet and the text flows nicely without being too long.

Great book, almost exact wording of Hans Christian Anderson anthology version. Pretty pictures without being too graphic for the wee children. They think it's funny that the elves were naked, because it is.

So many classic children's books are now out-of-print that it's wonderful when a true standard like this is kept in print -- and in affordable paperback format too. There are many versions of this story, Galdone's energetic illustrations make it one of the best.

Love Paul Galdone, this is one of my favorites.

Great product and great price

reading this puts me back in time

It is a great story that I remember from my childhood.I was disappointed in the construction of the book, the thinness and the lack of color. The price was really outrageous for this book.
