Co-Line Lockable 1-Way Livestock Gate Latch

Was originally going to use a 2 way gate latch, but the geniuses that installed my gate posts did not leave enough room for the latch. So, decided to try this one and it’s works perfectly. Just have to reach over the gate from the outside to open, but not a big deal. Good quality and Was easy to install on my tube gate. Had to add shim to close gap to male it close properly, but that was due to how the gate was hung, not a latch issue. Opens and closes easily and engages to stay closed (I was initially worried that it might no latch properly, but this was not the case. Been 2 months in use and Very satisfied with the purchase so far.

This single direction gate latch worked perfectly for my application, but you need to do your homework before setting the post. Be sure the gate will slam just shy of the center of the post...preferably a square post. The application pictured is a horse stall setup using custom made farm gates that swing to facilitate cleaning the stalls with a skid steer. The gates all swing the same direction. *NOTICE* These latches are made in USA! I have no complaints. The latches worked exactly as they should and they are heavy enough to last a long time.

Love these gate latches. Very functional, easy to install, and make coming and going through multiple farm gates much more efficient.

It's great, easy to install - except there were no bolts included for the fence post section. I'm assuming that may be due to various installation applications, but I did not note that in the description or I'd have bought them ahead of time.. $2 at the hardware store took care of that, and it is working perfectly. Love that it's US made, seems solid and will probably outlast the 6x6 post.

This lock is wonderful to keep my gate closed so I don't have to chase my Alpacas down the road. Great product!
