PLUG AND PLAY
Had a faulty actuator that kept alerting for my Driver assistance to be serviced. It turns out that the wire broke off from the actuator. This is a common issue with the design of the original. This replacement module is better constructed than the original. I unplugged the old one and plugged in the new one and slipped it up through the opening. No more service alerts and my seat is working properly now.

Easy install
This vibrating unit is easy to install and was a direct fit. Honestly took about 15 minutes to install and works perfectly just as good as stock if not better. I highly recommend this item if yours needs to be replaced.

Great product and easy to install
Regardless of what the description says, this will fit the 2014 Chevy Silverado crew cab LTZ. Easy to install and powerful vibration. The wiring seems to be better than OEM and should last longer. I will buy again if I ever need another one.

GMC dealer install $500, DIY 10 easy minutes.
I got the Driver Assistance error on my 2015 GMC 2500HD. Took it to the dealer and they said about every 30,000 miles the wires to the in-the-seat vibrator fray due to drivers getting in and out of the truck (no joke, this really what they said). The repair is for them to replace the 2 vibrators in the drivers seat for $500!So I checked YouTube where an excellent video shows you how to do the very, very easy job yourself in 30 minutes and he gave the part number to search for on Amazon ($38) free ship.So I ordered the part and it arrived next day. But I'm too lazy to undo 2 screws to get in the seat so I just unplugged the bad that is easy to reach just get in the back and look under the seat (see pics), plugged in replacement, and zip tied the little vibrator to the bottom of the seat spring. This got rid of the error and by not putting it into the cushion it shouldn't fray again. As for feeling the alert vibrate, the old right side vibrator that wasn't frayed now works since the error was dealt with and that's plenty of butt rub for me.

Better than OEM part.
Much better insulation than the OEM part. Notice in the pic the rubber around the wires is thicker to prevent breaking them again! Old part on left with electrical tape on it and new one on right. You can see from the pic, someone already tried to fix the old one. Cadillac dealership in Tampa quoted me over $450 to replace the haptic motor and install. It’s basically a seat vibrator. I watched a few different YouTube videos and decided to do this on my own. It took me an hour because I was very careful and I’m a larger person with larger hands. Youtubers did it in less than 30 minutes in the videos. The seat has to be all the way up and all the way back to be able to work and even then is difficult for a larger person to work on it. Part was $38 plus tax.

Works as it should.
Simple plug and go. The wire is thicker and looks more durable then the original OEM wiring that is clearly flawed.
