if you have difficult roots/branches lack of access, maybe chainsaw failed, axe made no impression etc, well attaching a wood cutting disc to my angle grinder helped me complete a very difficult job, it was a very wide, awkward to get at, unusual growth of tightly compressed branches ... and this disc sliced through very effectively, been cutting constantly last couple of days for quite a few hours ... there were nasty stones in amongst the thicket as well .. but this disc kept cutting and slicing. It's dangerous as in you need to make sure of your footing and wear protective gear especially if reaching down for some roots or cutting horizontal as you get a face full but ultimately i didn't care i just kept slicing and cutting away, sometimes alternating with hammer and chisel but whatever kept making nice steady progress and loads of sawdust, highly recommend

Bought for buried tree stump removal but are difficult to control quite vicious but it got them out

This tool is very sharp and get the job done fast

I brought this to remove some tree stumps, and has done remarkably well, it was like cutting butter, it does chip at it rather than cut it, but having tried a chain saw which jammed and smoked and a saw blade for a angle grinder which just jammed, if you are happy to take it a piece at a time with no effort or felling like it's going to take your arm off then this is for you

This blade was bought because I had a difficult-to-get-at bush (tree) stump to remove before it damaged the drive edge.I tried with a long handled tree lopper (chainsaw on stick) but that was too long and at the wrong angle and the stump was very hard and difficult to cut and comprised of about 5 or 6 joined together trunks making the surface area about 8 by 5 ins.This blade which is fitted to my Dewalt cordless angle-grinder (7/8in / 22.2mm arbour) is very sharp, leaves a nice smooth surface and cuts remarkably quickly.As expected, the cut depth is only around 40mm due to the angle grinder safety guard and hub, so the stump removal process turned out to be many vertical and horizontal cuts i.e. a bit at a time, but still very quick due to the speed this disc cuts at.The usual issues with this type of machine have to be expected such as snatching if the wrong side of the blade is used and wearing eye-protection is a must.Also, make sure it's tightened properly because the first time I used it, when i released the trigger, the inertia of the (heavy) blade undid the arbour and the disc span off into the bushes; no problem if the arbour is tightened up hard though.Overall, very good item I would thoroughly recommend.

Does what it says on the tin. Used it to grind away some stubborn hedge roots that were in the way of my new fence line
