Parker PR5825 5/8-inch x 25-feet Premium Contractor Garden Hose

I just got this item , the proof will be use over time . It seems solid and well made . It has a nice and easy range of spraying action . It is reasonable at the price point . It came fast , no hassle delivery as usual for amazon dealers . I got soo tired of these life time plastic nozzles that gives you about a two month life span of use . The last " Life Time " nozzle I lightly bumped the spray adjustment knob against the ladder I was using and it took off for outer space like a moon rocket . It is probably where it needs to be circling the earth with the rest of the space junk .This brass nozzle is not a new space aged modern tool , in fact Fred Flintstone probably used one of these to rinse off his pet Dinosaur . Its tried and true and basic and I think we would all be better off if we stayed with all these old fangled items that we know will work and work well . Just to add my 2 cents . I recently went back to a perk type coffee maker and it is 10 times smother , much richer and certainly hotter then these new drip machines . Sometimes running with the herd will drive you over a cliff . We all need to get back to what we know works .

A high quality - precision nozzle better than any I have purchased previously. It can produce the tightest and longest spray that I have ever seen on any nozzle that I have used before.I have purchased two of this type of brass nozzle in my time and they simply don't wear out. I purchased this new nozzle to replace one that I lost (misplaced, buried?). The quality of workmanship and materials is exceptional. The O-rings will be quite easy to replace down the road when I need to.I am amending my review as I purchased another nozzle last week and a shut off valve to go with it 605-475-5900 code 248305. The second nozzle wasn't the exact same (internal machining) as the first one however functionally they both exceeded my expectations.Using this shut off valve I am able to set the spray nozzle to a certain setting and use he shut off valve to regulate the water pressure.One thing that I do suggest is to disassemble and wipe the oil off of the two halves before using it as mine had almost a drop of oil on it. If you are not concerned about getting a little machine oil on whatever it is you are squirting then don't worry about it.

Hose is convenient before the hose breaks from water pressure after 13 months most of which were winter and the hose was in the garage. The ends are aluminum not brass are proven by the white corrsion on there and very light weight. I turned the water on today and it started start spraying out of the fabric. TThere is some sort of a plastic tube inside of the hose that came apart and now out $40.I expected a hose to last more than a few months. I hope the seller will make this right and I can improve the ratings.

Our very old rubber hoses kept having blowouts. We'd shorten them and they'd blow out in a new spot.It's been very hot and we have backyard chickens for the first time this year. Until I ordered and received this hose, I was disconnecting one of my other hoses after I finished watering the garden and using it with another hose for the mister in the chicken run.I'm using one of those tiny, spiral, one nozzle misters and it has really helped the hens deal with the heat this summer.This appears to be a great hose and it's working well. Since it's rubber, I expect to get many years use from it before it starts having blowouts.As usual, Amazon quick shipping saved me a lot of time and work.

Bought 2 of these for a cattle washroom in an FFA project barn. The connections are not typical stamped brass like in the stores so they are smooth and seal right and are solid enough to not collapse or get damaged if stepped on. The hose itself is so flexible it can be rolled up one handed. I joke that the kids ought to be able to roll them up around a coke can one handed, and that's not far off. They are light but very durable, easy to handle no matter the temperature and I expect will last a long time unlike the most expensive of hoses that have been bought from local home and garden stores which are nearly impossible to handle, especially in the cold weather. I'm buying more including for personal use. I'd expect to pay double or more and still feel they are well worth it.

This sprayer is designed backwards. When you turn it on, it starts out spraying in the widest pattern. So wide that it sprays backwards and towards you. Every other sprayer that I have used starts out as a needle, and then goes to a spray pattern. The quality of the materials seems great, and it doesn't leak, but the fact that you have to spray yourself to use it is just plain dumb.

Considering what I was using before to water the garden and pots - a large industrial strength hose - this is the best thing to come my way in a long time. My first time using/owning an expandable hose. This one was new to Amazon yet, I'm not sure which one is the 'best' but I'm loving this after 1 week. My one criticism is the nozzle it comes with. It's all made out of plastic and leaks like crazy. I always use a stainless steel nozzle. I use my own nozzle and there is NO leaking. I'm completely happy with this hose.7/10/18 - still going strong with this hose - I use it nightly - but after I noticed it leaking from the actual spout, I just threw in one of the plastic washers that come with it (they send 3!) and seriously, there's not one leak. AT ALL. And again, you'll want a stainless steel nozzle - not the garbage one they include. But I've had no issues whatsoever with the actual hose.
