I originally intended to install some basic speaker wire for my surround sound speakers. Since I was having the wire installed inside the wall, I changed my mind and went with the far more expensive AudioQuest cable. This was a much better sounding choice.My system initially had basic cheap speaker wire for my front speakers. I replaced that wire with AudioQuest X2 cables are there was an immediate improvement to the sound.The AudioQuest White Speaker Cable are well matched with the X2's. Since they're hooked up to the surround speakers, I'm not as concerned with them sounding "perfect" or matching exactly to the front speaker sound quality.We tend to watch mostly streaming apps such as Food Network. To my surprise, some of the shows have very good sound quality. The sound I'm hearing is very clean and clear. My girlfriend watches "Guy's Grocery Games" and I was impressed with the surround sound mix.I'm not one to spend a lot of money on speaker or audio cables. Yet there is a clear sounding difference in these AudioQuest cables. Well worth the extra money.
