Unlined vs. Lined
These are unlined silicone rubber gloves. They can be very hard to get on. Having a lining really helps get them on and significantly adds to the heat resistance. However, the lining easily gets dirty when cooking and is very hard to clean. Unlined ones are easy to rinse out. I think it really is a 50/50 pro/con.My solution is to get some lite cotton exam gloves and put them on first. They do not add size to your hands and interfere with the maneuverability. They are really cheap and disposable but can be washed if desired. They take some extra effort to get on and off but make up for it in how easy the silocone gloves are to get on and off.I have seen some people use flour or oil on their hands first. I know they are still clean and food safe but to me they feel dirty.Regarding fit: I have large hands and got the L/XL. The width around the hand it good the finger diameter is just right. I did find the fingers a little bit short which interferes with maneuverability. Still, it is much better than mits. These have a nice length to them and cover your wrists. Too often gloves are too short and you still get burnt. Also, how come they do not come in green. After all they come from a company called Jolly Green Products.

Extremely Satisfied Customer
Could not be happier with my new “ekogrips” Silicone heat resistant gloves. I received the ekogrips on Sunday September 6th (Labor Day weekend). My 91/2” hand size fell on the sizing chart between “One Size Fits Most” and “L/XL” so I ordered the “L/XL” When they arrived they felt to large so I wanted exchange for the smaller size.Normally I do not write reviews for products that I purchase, but because of the amazing customer service I received and I want to take a moment to share my experience with other possible buyers. The ekogrips arrived the Sunday of the Labor Day weekend. Inside the package was a Thank You note from the company. In the note was a pledge for total customer satisfaction with an email to contact the company owner if not satisfied. I immediately emailed a request to exchange the gloves for the next smaller size. Within 2/1/2 hrs I received a copy of an email from Adam (owner of the company” to an employee named Jenny to send me a pair of the next smaller size ekogrip gloves. Later that day I received an email from “Jenny” stating that the order had been initiated. The next day, Labor Day I received an email stating that the product was shipped and a tracking number was provided. The eco grip gloves arrived Wednesday September 9th just three days after my request and remember this was during Labor Day weekend!Without question this is the best customer service I have ever received. My request was resolved and shipped at lightening speed with no questions asked. Jolly Green Products has obviously developed and organizational culture that fosters the importance of great customer service, professionalism and company integrity, from the owner of the company down to his employee team. Their value of good customer service has given them a competitive edge in my book. Their outstanding customer service has earned my respect and made me a loyal customer. Thanks for an amazing product! Keep up the good work and I will definitely be a repeat customer.Take care, Ken

A good product; worth the cost of kitchen safety; OUTSTANDING SUPPORT
I just received my XXL LongCuff 2016 gloves. The fingers are (inside) aprox the same length as mine when the glove is pulled on. the inside seam length of my fingers are: Thumb 12.5cm, index 10cm, mid 8.5, ring 9.5, and little (measured betw ring and little) 7cm. The sleeve to wrist crease is 13 cm and inside is studded with half round bumps; the rest of the inside is smooth. Approximately 1cm of each finger width is empty; since my thumb width (for comparison is 2.5cm at the knuckle, I think that a more muscular hand might fit. Since the gloves are essentially flattened, the gloves stay on by gentle pressure/friction from the top and palm sides, as well as some friction from the sleeve. The grasping ability is mainly by two factors: the external flat studs, and the easy ability to grip between the thumb and slightly bent fingers. Those with strong hands will be able to make a fist, but my arthritis in a few of my fingers prevents me from making a fist. The gloves are a significant improvement over my silicone mittens because the gloves have a longer sleeve and pot edges and handles can be gripped between the separate fingers. Also, the gloves are more flexable than the thicker mittens. The longer sleeves provide more protection than the shorter mittens against pot steam when draining pots into a colander, however the other approximately half of the forearm must still be considered when draining pots. The only weakness of these gloves is the hanging loop, which is noticebly poorly engineered (weak) with too narrow loop and the hole design has a sharp indentation which is definitely the weakest point. None the less, the glove appears to be the best of this overall design. The warranty is "lifetime", and although I'm sure the company who designed the details and issues the warranty has good intentions, keep in mind that warranties are for the life of the company. The lifetime warranty is something that few others offer, so, for the life of the company, I consider the warranty as likely good. I urge the company to provide a much more substantial hanging design, and this is why: a mouse chewed a hole in my hot mitts, if they were hanging, they might be still operative. On the other hand, perhaps then I wouldn't have been motivated to get these far better hot gloves!!UPDATE: I just ordered another but "fits most" smallest size for my wife. Because the size did not appear on my order, I emailed the supplier with this worry and got an almost immediate response that they checked the order, I was going to get my selected size, and asked if I had any more questions! Wow.

Great For BBQ
Product works well, easy to clean. I bought it specifically for BBQ/Smoker. Cloth mitts just don't stack up for what I wanted to do. So far no issues with heat. Fits perfectly and the ability to grip is awesome, no more slips and drops like some other oven mitts I have tried. would recommend this product for anyone who wants a good heat resistant glove with grip and easy cleaning.

Beaucoup trop rigide difficultés de prendre les objets
Pour sortir des plats du four la rigidité du gant fait que l'on ne peut avoir une prise sécuritaire

A bit sticky
They have just one fault, when putting them on or off they "stick" to your hands. other than that great product

Rather heavy duty for everyday use
I am sure this product is fine for BBQs, but requires large strong hands to manoeuvre hot dishes. I found them not suitable for my hands (size 7.5) as they were too large and heavy.
