The stopper is plastic, it should be rubber.
The stopper should be rubber, not plastic. Also, they have an insole that only fits when the skate is set to the smallest setting. As soon as you elongate the skate the insole becomes too short and my child complains that it “feels weird”. You can buy bigger insoles, but it’s just something to consider. Overall, these are inexpensive skates and I feel that the price is reflected in the quality.

Good quality skates
These are a great buy. I bought them for my 4 year old daughter after taking her to a skating forum and saw she showed interest in skating. She absolutely loves them they are comfortable for her she has not complained of any discomfort from wearing them. She has been practicing skating daily since she got them a week ago. Skates are pretty sturdy and glitter is sealed so no glitter comes off. Comes with cones which my daughter loves to put them down and go around them. It also comes with tools to tighten or loosen wheels. Since my daughter is a beginner I have tighten her wheels a bit until she gets the hang of it. Over all I am happy with the quality of the skates and love that these are adjustable so looking forward to getting some good use out of them as they are sized 10-13 for the small. My daughter wears a size 8 in shoes I put thick socks for her so they fit perfect.

My daughter loves them
I bought this for my at the time 2 year old daughter who was a toddler size 7 in shoes. They fit her perfectly straight out of the box. Truthfully we tried them on wood floors first and it was no good. My daughter kept falling. I then had her use them on carpet and she quickly learned how to balance on the skates as well as not fall down. She now can skate on the wood floor with fewer falls and she has lots of fun. I enjoyed watching her learn how to skate. I'm actually going to start taking her to the park so we can skate together. I think she's gotten enough practice at home and is ready for the concrete. I highly recommend getting these for your kids.

Great starter skates.
My niece is 3 and wears a size 9c . Although she is learning how to skate, these skates are perfect for her . She wears 2 pairs of thick socks with her skates and the fit great and I don’t have to worry nor pay $8 for rental skates . We love them!!
