This shade is very good at keeping the heat and sun off. We have two one for our canopy and one we put over our shed to keep it cooler. Work great love it has so many hohes to tie it down.

Really lightweight and easy to install. We purchased the 10x14' shade and it's an awesome value for $35. it's exactly what we wanted for our deck and it looks great too. Our neighbors have been complimenting it and asking about it since we installed it. We connected one side of ours to our house and the other side to 2 galvanized posts that we attached to our Deck. We bought an installation kit but used black paracord instead of trying to mess with the cables and get them to the correct length. The Paracord is super strong and much easier to work with. The shade seems to hold up super well in the wind and is breathable and still allows the air to flow through. Absolutely love it and can't find a thing about it be at that I don't like. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered the 6x8 Sun Shade Sail. The item didn't apprear to be in its original packaging, but was in good condition. The fabric has some weight to it, not thin or flimsy. Solid stitching all around. The problem I had was, in my opinion, the seller's pictures are misleading. There are no clear images of the shade sail's edging and one picture even advertises "stainless steel d-rings". There are no d-rings! It has grommets all around (4 grommets on the short side, 5 on the long side). Kinda built like a cross between a tarp and a shade sail. This could be a pro or a con depending on your needs. But if you're looking for a true shade sail with d-rings to hang, be warned. For me, I simply wanted to add more shade to my dog's kennel so this construction wasn't a deal breaker. Just think the seller should be more transparent with their product description to avoid surprises!

Sun would come down directly in the afternoon and heat up our porch, more specifically our front door. So much that the door knob was Extremely HOT to the touch. Was looking for something that we could put up quickly and temporarily for the summer. Close up you can tell it's made up of plastic, but from a distance it looks nice and it does the job! We still have great air circulation and the patio is not burning up in the afternoon. Pretty awesome for the $.We just used some small bungee cords and J hooks to put in place. I highly recommend this product. I will update on how it lasts after the summer.

The reinforced ends help keep it secure and from ripping. Make sure to use a turn-buckle or something else to keep your sail taut and not saggy. We have an area that has blistering sun so we put this up and so far, so good - our only concern is when those hot winds kick up. The material is that typical "plasticy" material and provides the necessary shade.Make sure you are aware that there are NO rope or hardware included. I never use those ropes, so I was happy about that.

Installed correctly, but still pretty flimsy and cheap looking. Works for our temporary need.

Take this into consideration when considering what you want to cover. Yes, from hanging rings to hanging rings the dimensions are correct but when you put these up, they bow in the middle and you lose a good foot or better on each side. I hope this makes sense. In other words, consider ordering a size or two bigger to compensate for the bows in the middle. Other than that, love these things as I have ordered three so far. Also make sure the slope between back and front is enough so that water drains exactly as and where you want it to. If none of this makes sense, you will surely understand what I mean after you have hung it.

I initially bought a sunshade a few years back that worked great but eventually needed replacement. I bought this one since the other was no longer available. Sorely disappointed. It did not come as advertised:1- The edges are not curved so when it is put up the canvas is not tight or taught.2- There is ugly black banding around all the edges.3- There are grommets all along the edges.4- There are no hooks at the corners as shown, rather there are grommets here too with a plastic corner guard (carabineer in photo bought separately).Aesthetically and functionally does not work as advertised. There are many options for this type of product - buy from someone else.

Grommets ripped out after less than a week, poorly constructed garbage.
