This product is very intelligently designed and I cannot find any flaws with it.-Water warms within about 8 minutes (using cool tap)-Power cord is done in a way that it can wrap around the base easily and be put away without any burden/issues-Lid opens with 1 button (beware the units that don't have this..)-Wide spout opening even when lid is closed-No plastic components (anywhere where it would interact with boiling water)Again.. wonderful kettle.. and very fairly priced. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality no fuss electric kettle.

I had been trying to talk my husband into switching from a stainless tea kettle on our gas stove to an electric kettle with an auto shut off for over two years. I finally ordered one - not this one - a different brand. He was reluctant at first, but soon began saying how much he liked it - until it did NOT shut off. So, that one got returned; and I chose this KOIOS model, because it got great reviews. My husband and I are serious tea drinkers. I set out the tea in the cups for morning, afternoon and evening tea, and my husband heats the water and pours the tea. It is just our little routine after being married for 49 years . . . Why did I want an electric kettle with an auto shut off? So that my 71-year old husband would not burn the house down. He would walk away from the gas stove because of the time it would take to heat the over filled stainless kettle. This kettle lets you see so you can put in just the amount of water you need. You are not boiling more water than necessary - it is fast - so he doesn't walk away - the water being boiled is always fresh. Also, the light is a bright blue so you know it is working, and it shuts off when the water has reached the boiling point. We will NEVER go back to a stainless kettle on our gas stove. Do yourself a favor - order this electric kettle now. (Side note - this kettle was very well packaged,, came with an easy registration website and easy access customer service information.)

I love this kettle!! I was looking for an electric kettle that had a wide mouth to fill it and this is it!! It boils to capacity in 6 minutes, I love the blue looking water when it is plugged in. It also boils longer than my previous kettle which is great for tea, being British it must boil a while before turning itself off. This kettle sits in the middle of the charger not at the side like my previous kettle so it's much easier to place on it to boil. I will keep in mind that it is 1500 v when I switch other things on in my kitchen with the same volts as I once blew the electric current. I also think this is a great company to deal with and they really care about how you like their products. Very impressed all around!!

I've been enjoying this kettle since I received it. I takes a lot less time to heat water than on the stove.Esay to clean and maintain.The only thing, and it's not the kettle. The cleaning tool keeps coming apart, but that's minor.The water where I live has a high level of calcium/lime (?) in it. Usually it's a major chore to keep kitchen utensils clean and free of deposits. Not so with this kettle. It cleans like new every time. I still give this product a Five star rating.

Perfect for an apartment, where I don't want a "screaming" kettle whistling loudly after 10 pm.Yes, I make tea and cocoa - but I use this to boil water for ramen noodles.I can use any time of day, it is pretty silent.Also - the auto-shutoff is spectacular. I've started the thing, got a cell phone call and forgot about it. Nothing bad happened - the unit shut itself off. Fabulous.

I make a whole pot of tea in the morning and drink all day. Reheating only takes a couple of minutes so my husband and I can enjoy the tea all day. Also, it is very handy to boil water next to the stove in a few minutes so that I can use the hot water for cooking. I do not like the hot water from the tap not only because it is not filtered but also takes a long time to be as hot as I want. Compared with several teapots but I like the design and the fact that the cover is lined with stainless steel underneath so the hot water doesn't touch any plastic at all. Just need to be careful not to go over the Max line. Very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it to anyone.

There are a lot of similar kettles out there, and while there's nothing incredibly special about this one you might consider these things: The power switch is at the top of the handle, not a lever at the base like my last one, which prevents accidental activation. The inside of the lid is steel, not plastic, and the pouring edge is glass so the water never touches plastic while you heat or pour. The blue light seems ubiquitous, but friends are always captivated by watching the bubbles so it's better than a steel kettle.

This electric kettle is the best I've ever had. I usually use plastic kettles, because that's what most people have, and that 's what I'm used to. But when I saw this listed on Amazon, I was excited to try it. Heating plastic at high temperatures emits microscopic particles into the water you are heating. But everyone knows that heating glass at high temperatures doesn't present that issue. It's cleaner, heats faster, and looks nicer than the plastic electric water kettles we all grew up with. I highly recommend this item, you won't be sorry with this purchase.
